We have gone from 1 nappy every other day to 3 a day since we started weaning! And yes they are very stinky and he tends to do them while I'm feeding him! The C&B Banana & Strawberry Porridge is lovely!

J goes to bed anytime betweem 7.30-8.30pm and for the last 3 weeks has been waking in the night but just for his dummy. I'm sure it's his teeth.

J has 5 bottles a day and 2 meals althought I will be including breakfast from tomorrow. Routine at the mo is
    Wake 8.30am
    Bottle 9am
    Nap 10.30am - 11.30am
    Bottle & Porridge 12pm
    Nap 1.30pm - 3pm (this can vary)
    Bottle 3pm
    Bottle & Tea 5.30pm-6pm
Bedtime bottle 7.30pm-8.30pm then straight to bed!

Just remembered I need to make his bottle up for the morning so will be around for a bit longer!

H has bottles around 8.30, 12.30, 4.30 and 8.30. She usually has a nap around 10am when I can go for a shower, but then has about a further 3 x 30mins in the afternoon and evening! I have tried keeping her awake, but it's no use. And then when I need to get her up earlier to go to baby groups, I am stopping her from forming a proper routine.
I feel I am constantly waking her up from naps to move her from the car seat to the pushchair then out again etc. I think we need to have a week with nothing to do. I am quite relaxed about it so don't mind too much, but just wary not to leave it too long to sort out a decent bedtime!

I've got a recipe book with puree's in front of me. I'll list them if you like to see if it's something you haven't tried or want too?

    Potato and Pumpkin
    Potato and Spinach
Kumara (!!!!!! is that?!) and squash (I think its sweet potato)
    Carrot and broccoli
    Carrot and spinach
    Apple and avacado

    Chicken, Courgette and Parsnip
    Beef carrot and Sweet Potato
    Fish potato and spinach

    Egg yolk custard
    Banana with semolina
    Apple with rice cereal

Then it goes onto "mashed foods" but don't see why they couldn't be pureed

Vegetables and cheese - Asparagus, parsnip, pea and bit of cheese on the top.

    Leek and mushroom

    Fruit yoghurt
    Pumpkin with sweetcorn
    Peach and apricot
    Sweet couscous

    Chicken livers with pumpkin :p
  • We have a in the week routine and a weekend routine.

Week routine - bed by 8pm at the latest. Weekend we don't have a routine.

Katie doesn't even have to sit at the table to eat her lunch at weekends - pick grazing food to make it easier.

She's had mum and DH in stitches today - she got a mushroom out of the fridge brought it into the living room to her kitchen and proceeded to chop it up like mummy!

Glam - I have a couple of AK's books there are even weirder combinations in there.
Proud to be dealing with my debts
