Last week she weighed 13lb 5oz so not that heavy really. Considering she started off a wee chunk! All her little friends were lighter than her and have now overtaken her. She has a really long body though so things are a bit tight in the crotch! I need to change her nappy regularly lol.

We have a long body here too - lots of comedy baby camel toe moments :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

That's like Craig. He was so excited and watched it all. The midwife handed Charlotte to him first and he loved that. He cut the cord as well.

My ex was present when the boys were born but he sat in the corner out of the way as he didn't really want to be there. I ended up ringing my Mam both times as I wanted someone to hold my hand and stuff :o

My Mam enjoyed that as I was an emergency c-section, then my brother was a bigger baby, so the said she had to have a c-section at 38 weeks as they didn't want her to try and deliver him naturally. She always felt she missed out as she never went through the natural birth process. Being at the birth of my boys and experiencing it with me helped her get over what she missed and I know she is really thankful that I asked her to be there.
    ...
While we are talking about births, did anyone's birth plans go to plan? I've had three babies but stuff was never carried out as I'd written down and there were upsets with all three births. It made me wonder what the point of writing them was :o
I had my mum at both my births and she cut Edgar's cord :D I'm hoping to have another baby, homebirth and provided the boys are asleep/can be looked after by my dad she'll be at that one too:cool:

Both my births were to plan, my MWs were all 40yo+ read my plan and were lovely :T I am blessed :A

Fairy dadmother rang last night to say he is going to be a step gran[STRIKE]dad[/STRIKE]ny! His step son and his girlfriend are 6 weeks PG and over the moon. The girlfriends parents apparantly told her she should have an abortion because they "dont have their own home" (because they rent, but havent bought!) and because they arent married. Nevermind that they have been together for longer than OH and I. How awful and unsupportive, you think they'd just be chuffed to be grandparents! I've never met her but I feel the need to give her a hug :( Its a shame they live over an hour away or I'd make an effort to get to know them.
    :j:eek::mad:
My parents fell out with one of their oldest friends (from school) because his responce to hearing I was pg was "why didn't she have an abortion, she's too young to have a baby" I was 21, same age as my mum n dad were when they got married. stupid £$$%^&* he is! mum told him to stick his opinion where the sun don't shine

anyhoo love you all, forgotten what you all said but I'm sure it was all wonderful ;)

Tara - did you mention you were going to church today? was it to sort Christening/wedding? Also did you know that Bristol Childrens ward/hosp/thing have a tv show on sky1? looks like a nice place for DGD1 to be looked after :)

Went to Asda and bought some Baby Rice and Apple & Banana Porridge today in preparation for weaning! Will wait for now as she still sleeps throught the night no problem and is only on 4 bottles a day. Need to work out how to get her down earlier though. She goes to bed around 10.30, but I want to start bringing it forward. She is like mummy and daddy though - comes alive in the evening but happy to stay in bed half the day I think!

How is Jack's sleeping and eating coming along? My friend started weaning her boy this week and he did his first poo today since she started and she has warned me to put it off as long as possible lol. Said she was nearly sick as worst nappy yet! :rotfl:

We have gone from 1 nappy every other day to 3 a day since we started weaning! And yes they are very stinky and he tends to do them while I'm feeding him! The C&B Banana & Strawberry Porridge is lovely!

J goes to bed anytime betweem 7.30-8.30pm and for the last 3 weeks has been waking in the night but just for his dummy. I'm sure it's his teeth.

J has 5 bottles a day and 2 meals althought I will be including breakfast from tomorrow. Routine at the mo is
    Wake 8.30am
    Bottle 9am
    Nap 10.30am - 11.30am
    Bottle & Porridge 12pm
    Nap 1.30pm - 3pm (this can vary)
    Bottle 3pm
    Bottle & Tea 5.30pm-6pm
Bedtime bottle 7.30pm-8.30pm then straight to bed!

Just remembered I need to make his bottle up for the morning so will be around for a bit longer!

On the subject of children growing up, I caught Josh wandering naked along the landing on his way into the shower this evening and I realised he's not a little boy anymore  He wasn't bothered at all but Craig had a quiet word and suggested maybe it's time he covered up :o
Here I go again on my own....

    Night Glam.

Buttons/Scruffy - has it been snowing all day up there? We had a blizzard this morning, but it calmed down by lunch so it's mostly away now.

MFD - poor Benjamin. H's sleeves are too long. Long body, short arms! Hope she can wipe her bum ok when she is older.
