  • BTW I had the TTCTN bottles, they never leaked, I've just chucked them out and replaced them with 3 of the cheapo thin bottles so the baby can hold them better, £2.99 for 3 out of superdrug or they do them at £1 each in poundland, they do the trick for a 10 month old!
I must start getting him used to drining out of a beaker, I must admit that because of all this hoo haa in my life in the last few months I have complettely missed out on these things and think I have kept him a bit too babyfied!

    Hi DKAM

    Sounds like you enjoyed yourself:D

I'm car hunting too...it is a nuisance isn't it? Hope you pick one soon, I think I am going to go out after K has had his nap and visit some dealers, just so I can get an idea of sizes irl as opposed to just on net:)

Does everyone else find the 4-6mth, 7mth and 10mth stage jars/pots are just right for your babies in terms of texture? Rhys had a 10mth jar tonight with no problems at all (HiPP Sweetcorn, Pepper and Chicken Risotto - well half of it, plus some homemade carrot mush and calorific mash) :) I'm finding it a bit harder making his veggies to go with it cos I wouldn't eat mash with lumps in (_pale_) but I've got to leave lumps in it for him, haven't I? Think I might just cut most veggies small from now on but still make creamy mash like we would eat anyway :)

only used the 4-6month ones -once they are warm they are well runny.
J has taken to lumps really well, eats toast like a pro but he won't hold it (it goes all floppy when he gums it) so I put bitesize pieces in his mouth.
Veg is all mashed now but like MFD said I might skip the BNS now.
Really struggling to give J our meals so I think I will buy some jars.

Agree with the mango rice pudding being runny!!!!!
Weetabix - do you add cow's milk or formula????

We have booked our holiday for June- a week in a cottage in the middle of nowhere in south-west wales.... will be bliss :)

Alex is still doing well, we had our first bath last night, which was surprisingly untraumatic.

Seeing lots of people today, it will be interesting to see how Alex copes with that, but also nice as I am seeing someone whos lo also has talipes.

Hope everyone has a good day

whereabouts you going?? thats my homeland :)

TTCN - Never leaked for me. Just bought 2 of the gripper bottles in Wilko - £1 each and not leaked either.

DKAM - Go for bright red!!!!!!!!!!!! :D My other cars have been red (but it was a battered Peugeot 309 that had 200,000miles on it by the time I scrapped it!), white, gold, light blue, dark blue and now flamenco red

Jack was up every hour from midnight so at 5am he came in our bed til 7am. I really am struggling to know why he keeps crying - sometimes he's not even awake!
A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Where does the time go?

Hi SM, my fairies spent too long at their mums yesterday but have promised me they'll fly tomorrow :)

Am currently playing police with Josh and I have to pretend to be a robber while he sits on his [STRIKE]lego box[/STRIKE] police motorbike and chases me!
