Hi all.

Have been lurking this evening and now about to go to bed (well finish the work I have to do and then go to bed).

Am seriously considering going to the docs to see if they will sign me off for a while. My nerves are shattered. Hubby stubbed his toe earlier and swore and I bawled my eyes out because he had worried me

Everything is seeming very big and impossible and insurmountable ATM. I wish I could curl up in a ball and cry for a while.

Sorry to be all down again. I know I have lots of good stuff going on, it just seems that all the bad stuff is overshadowing everything with a big black cloud.

I need a good slap and a shake.

Have sat for 10 minutes (when I should have been working) wondering whether to post this or not because I am not after tons of sympathy and hugs I just feel if I don't say how I am feeling to somebody it will eat me up. Please ignore me.

You work far too much, and you've had poorly hubby to deal with too recently - it's no wonder you're feeling crap! Go to the docs tomorrow, and get yourself a couple of weeks off to chill. xxx

Hi everyone else, i'm lurking this evening. :wave:

Becles, Mel and anyone else with older boys.
Is there anywhere you can get boys school trousers, that fasten with something other than those metal clip thingys?
J has 5 pair, from Asda, BHS and Tesco, all with the metal clip thingys, and 4 are now broken.
He needs elasticated waist, or proper buttons. Any ideas?

In my Asda they do a few different types and one have no fasteners at all, just elastic. They're grey but rarely in stock.

Otherwise i'm sure Matalan do some with buttons, not positive tho

MFD - I wrote you a long'ish reply but tbh I don't think you want that so I just want to say that it sounds like a good idea to go to the docs, and have some time off work......

I think most places are those slidey clip things! I used to get some from Next and Woolworths that were buttons. I haven't had for a while though because Woolworths shut down and ds1 went through 11 pairs of trousers last year so I got the cheapest I could find, Asda I think!
