Morning! I am feeling great this morning, put Alfie in his cotbed in his own room last night and I got a much better sleep! Instead of being woken up by hum waking, grumbling but then going back to sleep for an hour before he needed feeding I was just woken when he was actually awake and really needed feeding!
Now I have DH making me a bacon sandwich so all good!
We also went out last night! DH normall works every Fri & Sat night but had last night off. Mum came here and watched A and we went for a drink round the corner for just over an hour. Felt weird leaving A but was nice to spend a Fri night with DH. I had a drink as well, first one in 9 months apart from a glass of bubbly at my wedding! Felt a bit giddy after :rotfl:0 -
:rotfl: aless
Csh it isn't that bad, he'll get dinner tonight and we both get to enjoy the weekend. Which reminds me, I need to do a postcode search on the nearest supermarket to our hotel :rotfl:
Beenie, I've been doing extensive hunting, and in the dark oak finish the Toys R Us one is the cheapest. Would you feel up to staining a cheaper one yourself, maybe?Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

Oh and I am jealous of all the new cars! Our car is dying and we can't afford a new one just yet0 -
Oh oh oh, has anyone been reading the news?
You know Jenny McCarthy, used to be a TV presenter and then an outspoken anti-vaccination campaigner because she insisted that her son "caught" autism from the MMR vaccine?
It turns out her son does not have autism at all. He has an interesting neurological condition that children grow out of. And now he is 7-ish he has grown out of it.
She continues to insist, however, that vaccines cause autism and says she will continue the fight against them.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

ooo, good idea SS. Staining is dead easy - I did our dining room table in a couple of go's. I think you'd have to be careful, b/c if the wood has a glossy finish, it'd need to be sanded first (mega PITA), which is prolly what most cots have to be splinter-friendly

SS- that is mad. I saw a woman on a TV programme who had two autistic children. The first had the MMR and the second hadn't yet she still insisted the jab had caused the autism in her first child. It just defies logic....:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0
