• MM - I'm thinking of asking my parents and brothers to buy her something other than chocolate.

If we asked DH's family to buy an alternative she'd get an egg as well rolleyes.gif

Plus it's her birthday a couple of weeks after so she'd be getting a load more stuff then.

buttons i agree with the childrens clothes all being made for bigger kids as my lot are all adverage sizes and i have to buy belts and adjustable waists for them to fit!when i asked about it i was told there are ranges for bigger size kids but not smaller?? what is an adverage size kid as eveyone i know has to wear belts?

great new for Tara im glad Poppie has been moved to a better hospital :D

i have had an awful day :( woke up to go and get my shopping and the snow had started, cupboards fridge and freezer were all run down so i could do a big shop today and restock. for some reason i checked my bank to see what was in and the was nothing!! it showed my tax credits and CB had went in but were being taken out again. I phoned and it was in laws car ins with post office, they give me the money each month and the DD comes out my acc. However 2 weeks ago they cancelled the policy and post office decided to take £300 cancellation fee!!! that was more than the actual policy! I was phoning and being passed from one person to the next and told i would be lucky to have the money refunded, cue major row on the phone!!
i gave up and decided to go to M&S with my £50 vouchers and buy shopping! came home and phoned the bank who were not impressed with PO as they should have sent a fax asking for the payment to be stopped and refunded, luckily the lovely lady must have felt very sorry for me and sorted it all out, i could have kissed her lol! so im still all worked up and exhausted, have lots of lovely food from M&S but couldnt believe the prices if it! i only left with 3 bags and it was just over £50! just as well it was free:D hope you all had a better day, am off to bed to collapse before it all starts again night night xx

Oooooooooooooooooookay

I think i may have over-reacted a tad in my bid to be all strong and take no crap.

He's gone off in the ambulance, crying and sniffling like a broken man. He told the police i'm poison.

All that happened was we were talking on the sofa and he started getting a bit opinionated about it all again. "It's only 9 weeks" "it's not my fault" "why did you get pregnant" <<pretty sure i didn't do it on my own.

Anyway i told him i feel like he manipulates me and makes me feel like everything is my fault and always puts me down. And he said does you mother manipulate you.

I was like, err you're doing it right now. Subtle because he was implying (as he's said directly before) that because i don't get on with my mam or him it MUST be my fault, and he was never like this with his ex wife. I said how do you know - he said whenever we had any problems he asked her if he was ever nasty to her as he couldn't understand why i'd said he was. She's always said no... Like !!!!!!?? he's running to his ex wife everytime we argued when together, to get her to reassure him that i'm a !!!!!!?? All i can say is !!!!!!.

I've not raised my voice at all tonight, i've stayed calm and there was no "huge fight" or anything so i do feel like i over-reacted a little.

Before all of this he was good with Amber and he bathed the dog (not picked up poo tho :(), and he made my tea and cleaned the floors and kitchen. But he is STILL justifying leaving me in the !!!!!! when i was pregnant and being outright nasty to me everytime we spoke when i was pregnant and after she was born.

Heard him telling the police how he was married for 8 yrs and didn't do anything like this so it must be my fault.
hope your ok and you need to look after you and the little ones and forget him xxxx

Well Im mad as a hatter now!

Stupid NHS twathead douchebags.

I asked if I should keep her off nursery the rest of the week, so I could phone the nursery and let them know, and then she was like "DOES SHE MISS A LOT OF NURSERY?" "HAS SHE HAD ANY INJURIES THAT COULD BE CAUSING HER TO FEEL PAIN"

What, do they think I punched her in the gut or something! I was like what the hell! Omg are they going to send a cop car round and social services because I asked if I should put my kid to nursery?

Never phoning them !!!!! again!

BM.. If she has had a cold and was snotty and is starting up snotty again it is likely just a build up of mucus in her stomach making it achy.. of top of coughing and sneezing which strains the muscles and the diaphragm.. If she said further up her body was hurting it might be a chest infection but if it is the bottom of her ribs it is probably nothing to worry about. You know yourself when you have a stomnking cold you have tummy ache for a while afterwards. Medicine won't touch it either. If she has a lot of mucus on her chest and is coughing try a few minutes of firmly patting her back to loosen it... worked really well with my snot monster and she would cough the whole lot up. Gross question... when she went for her 3 poos were they slimy and mucusy too? This would indicate it is moving through the digestive tract but she is generating it just as fast. My homeopath screams pulsatilla!! it shifts gungy yellow/green sludge

NHS direct are w@nk... most useless service ever provided. They decided my daughter was teething when in fact she had a raging ear infection (I knew that but was seeing how good they were) I've rang them a few times and they NEVER, not even once got it anywhere near.. Measles with Koplik spots was a viral rash and nothing to worry about.. in a 17 week old baby, bacterial pneumonia was 'just a cold'... I'd not ring them again ever!!
