Mine too - I started out at 7 stone and dropped to under 6.5 in just over a month because they were feeding me tiny portions because I was a tiny person and getting tinier because my metabolism needed as much as the giant rugby players.
I was especially annoyed when the big rugby player was given four pieces of potato and I was only given three. I asked for more and they gave me one more piece. When I said, "Can I have a bit more than that?" they said they weren't allowed to give people more than that. It was potato - it's not like I was asking for caviar or extra meat. I have no idea why I didn't write a letter of complaint - it was very out of character for me not to. I did get to move from the third floor to the ground floor though by citing my weight loss as a reason.

I had this argument every day - and once with the Subway sandwich guy because he refused to give me more than three slices of olive. I asked if they were his own olives and he was not amused.

Right as I was about to get to sleep I hear whinging from the bedroom. No rest for those who don't have time to be wicked... night all

  • SusanC and Sugarspun thank you for your feedback, it can get so confusing with these adverts, and yes they definately go for the heartstrings of mummies!

LO loves her food and is given a good variety, and packs away her 5 a day. The only thing she has that is packaged I guess are the toddler meals, and when Grandma has her she gives her chocolate! I think once this follow on milk has gone.. whole milk will be the way forward, save me a bit too!

...Did make me wonder about the woman I saw when I was pregnant though, who was feeding her baby in the middle of the nursery section of the store, sitting in one of the display nursery chairs ;)
What a genius idea! I like the sound of that woman :D

Is the silvercross 3d any good? Theres one going cheap near me that has been relisted a few times.

    Is it parent facing?
no it's not good its parp! you would almost certainly hate it, I felt a bit guilty selling mine to the unsuspecting pg girl knowing she'd probably curse the day in a few months :o

FG - just use whole milk ;) there is an iron counter on the cow & gate website if you fancy it although it is massively lacking a decent selection to choose from (you know in the hope that you'll still buy their over priced vanilla flavoured milk)

Familygirl - There was a Panorama programme that discussed the milk thing. It might still be on BBC iPlayer :)

I'm just waiting for tomorrow's list to be posted on the Flylady thread and then I can go to bed. I like to know what I need to be doing in the morning. Am hoping it's bathroom tomorrow :o Doesn't take long and means I can get on with the shredding!

I've cleared another 2 binbags of crap from the house, got a huge pile of shredding and a huge pile of filing to get through tomorrow. I might be able to see my dining room table! :j
A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea
