You're right, if you hold a Halifax Easycash you can't withdraw anything less than £300 over the counter.Anything I post is my opinion, so from time to time I may be wrong. I try to provide answers based in fact, however I don't know everything, so (like all posters on MSE), take what I say with a pinch of salt.0 -
£30 seems like quite a reasonable limit to me - anything less and people are going in every day for a 5er for the bus
If you don't like it then you can close your account - as far as I'm aware if your account balance is below £30 you can withdraw a smaller amount, so the argument about not having the money in the account doesn't stand
Banks are a business, and like any business they don't really want the custom from someone who costs them more to service than they will make. One security guard can refill hundreds of cash machines in a day - the the same wages one cashier operates at a slower pace than 1 ATM0
