I've just used D086533 successfully and saved ££££'s for the second time. I hired a car for 9 days from Disney Paris train station and got an upgrade from a group C car to a group H :j

    No questions asked!

I realise alot of carhire companies like to add on this as an option.I previously
used budget italy in ireland to book but at present it appears that they direct
you to the budget international website(alot dearer).
Does anybody know of companies that include the no damage excess.

Also say you have no damage excess-and the vehicle is returned with a scratch. Are you going to be charged as you don't know who is responsible or
if it is your fault are you covered?

    Does damage excess cover theft?

Of course I have tried Quidco.com already

    Your thoughts always appreciated

    Hi

Try Holiday autos via Quidco. They allow you to pay extra (About £2 a day) to reclaim the excess. You still pay the excess on your credit card, but as long as you follow the instructions, Holiday autos will refund the amount.

It will normally cover theft as well, but check the small print.

Remeber if you ever claim as well, to tell your own insurance company.

    regards

    Barry

Give Carjet a try, they have no excesses on their insurance, tyres and glass damage isnt usually covered and can be purchased on arrival for approx 10 Euros a week. They also include up to 3 extra drivers for no extra.
Get a quote from carjet.co.uk and your other questions relating to theft and damage are all answered there.

Ooops just checked their website and some of their destinations do now carry an insurance excess, so best to get a quote then click "whats included" to see if any excesses apply at your intended destination.

I have just booked a car rental in Abu Dhabi, with Avis, using the codes supplied.
The price came in at 300DH less than Hertz, who I usually use, and more than 1000DH less than the standard Avis price.
    Many thanks for these codes!!!

Carjet do say that on short-term hires, you can ask to rent full and return full, which is the way I'd ALWAYS prefer to do it.

As we've said so many times before, Carjet are only brokers who will tell you the fuel policy is full-to-empty.

Whichever broker you hire from, the fuel policy will be down to the actual rental company.

There's no harm in asking the rental company for a full-to-full contract. I think most will agree for hires up to 3 or 4 days. Some may even allow longer if you can persuade them you won't be using much fuel. Remember, however, if there is a queue at the desk, their easy answer will probably be "No"!

If you've got time, and have not committed payment, you can always 'shop around' the other hire companies - or even threaten to!
