  • Forgot one more point, if you are going on holiday check with your tour operator and pay before you go, you can get considerable discounts with some holiday companies!

It seems like they have taken off a digit on the codes,so the ones on MSE are now too long!!! HELP!!!!

A153700 works fine. Currently reduces a Megane from £184 to £110 per week.

When are you trying to book for? Put the dates and type of car up and I will see if it works my end.

You aren't entering it in the Wizard Number box are you?

It goes in the AWD box.

You might get a better car/price with https://www.carjet.co.uk or https://www.doyouspain.com

Avis will have an insurance excess, Carjet and doyouspain won't. They're booking agents and use Record and similar canaries hire companies but charge far less than these companies themsleves.

  • I have been looking at car hire prices in South Africa and was looking at £259 with Avis, this code drops it to £156 for 8 days hire. We will be using the car in the Game reserves and the discount code brings in the possibility of hiring a 4x4 as the price drops from £351 to £212.
Is there any downside to using these codes?
  • I have read on other forums that if you use the A153700 code then you are very lucky if you do not get asked for proof of employment as this code is for Avis employees only. Has anybody had this experience?
  • Has anyone had any experience of using these codes abroad - I've got a good price for Perpignan but I'm petrified of turning up for the car and them questioning me about who I work for - where the codes come from - and me having to pay them £100's more!!
