Just wanted to share my joy that this time last month I had had 2 NSDs; including today, this month's running total is 4! OH just looked at me blankly when I peeped over the laptop at him and exclaimed that so far half the month has been made up of NSDs....*** Sigh, another spend today as desperately needed petrol ***
Come on ceebeeby, don't let yourself down again!!!

Declaring another NSD for today but going out tomorrow, have to get petrol and some things I need....
Well done everyone and hugs to anyone needing one.

There's still time to join this month's Challenge Niks--our door never closes!Best bring a blankie & wear yer thermals cuz that makes a draught but the Folk are definitely warm & friendly, & some spout enough hot air to keep the chill at bay :rotfl:
I should keep my limp lettuce leaf handy for Peeps who insist on using the 'F' word  I will not HAVE ITWhen I read your post Jinty, I had a vision of a plate of pineapple fritters,so I propose we wear a badge that declares us to be "nana fritter-ers"
It works two ways, in that we are a nana for spending on summat we didn't truly need, & we 'frittered' away a perfectly good nsd AND unnecessary cash. How does that sound Coffee-break? Of course this would only be for those times when the lure of the chocolate bar/ cheesy poofs/ bagga chips--those niggly little spends--become too powerful to resist.
Aww Rubie--I was  watching Hairy Bikers t'other week. A woman had TWO of those american-style full-length larder fridges stood side-by-side, one for fruit & veg & the other for meat & fish! She said she had the same again freezer style AND chest freezERS  I'd love that much space, so I need only go shopping once a week...then again......don't think I'd like their lekkie billFull time Carer for Mum; harassed mother of three;loving & loved by two 4-legged babies.

I'd suggest you put it in as an ingrediant on BBC food and see what recipes come up. I do it with ricotta and pasta in a bake;
50g butter
bunch spring onions
250g spinach thawed
200g penne pasta
nutmeg, salt and pepper
30g grana padano cheese
1 tbsp chopped herbs
250g ricotta with 2 tablespoons of milk
Soften bunch of sliced spring onions in 40g butter for 2 mins.
Add 250g thawed spinach with water squeezed out
Leave over a low heat to absorb butter
Cook pasta
Season spinach and onions
Add 20g grana padano and herbs
Drain pasta and add
Stir in ricotta mix
Put in buttered dish, scatter with rest of cheese and drizzle with butter

Wow, 9 days gone already and I've not managed a NSD yet
.
Today, however, should be a NSD and hopefully tomorrow too ! Had a few things to buy this month that I don't usually have to fork out for (new school shoes/uniform, changing over pet and house insurance so have had deposits to pay etc etc).
I must try harder !:jWeight loss to date 1st 11.5lb :j0 -

:rotfl:For some reason this made me think of a day full of dressing up/acting like Mr T. That should exist, it'd brighten up my day for definite!
I think Mr T is code for that massive chain of supermarkets beginning with T. I could be wrong though, it takes me a while to catch on to some of the abbreviations on here!
Yesterday was a NSD for me and so far so good for today. As long as I can resist popping into the shop on the way home today should be my 3rd NSD so far. Fingers crossed!0
