Hi BigMummaF
I couldn't find the thread ! I pledge 12 for February
Slow start with only 3 NSD since the 1st of the month so far
Thank youMFW on your mark0 -
Have been lurking for a while, hoping to join March's challenge.
Just wanted to share my joy that this time last month I had had 2 NSDs; including today, this month's running total is 4! OH just looked at me blankly when I peeped over the laptop at him and exclaimed that so far half the month has been made up of NSDs....Clearing debt to save for a simple wedding.Starting 2016 With debt of £77000 -
*** Sigh, another spend today as desperately needed petrol ***
I think that now makes it unmanageable yet again, next month I'm going for a much lower target as this keep missing out makes me demotivated - arghhh! Okay, so I've got 20 days left, and 13 NSDs to get. Cars full, and so are cupboards.
Come on ceebeeby, don't let yourself down again!!!
Whip, whip, whip!!!
Well done to everyone xx0 -
I've managed my first one :T and put in a mileage claim for £107. Wednesday putting in a expenses claim for a conference for about £100......and on Thursday pressing Liverpool for my interview expenses about another £100.
I feel like an MP (obviously one that does know the price of tea and bananas)

Boo-hoo, big fat failure coming through. Bought a large packet of Sainsbury's cheese balls crisps this evening on the way home from work. Couldn't resist temptation and ruined a NSD at the 11th hour. Booo!
Curlygirl... try not to be so graphic in your description of food next time. I'm dribbling into my keyboard  :rotfl: Seriously, well done on not giving into temptation though :T.curlygirl1971 wrote: »Am so impressed. I drove 2 hours home from BF's (after eating a roast dinner!) and all the way back I was salivating down my front at the thought of........ 100% prime beef burger preferably with a slice of blue cheese and a portabello mushroom. Then I got on to salt and pepper wings, hot and sour soup, noodles.....then I got on to pizza......I was trying to justify buying a huge humongous one that I could cut in half and have the rest for tomorrow nights tea....then after that I got to thinking about Jerk Chicken......it was agony! I hate living near so many flipping takeaways.
I ended up with cheese on toast - and it was pretty foul as the bread was old and the cheese is half fat so never tastes as good. Oh well - at least I still have that takeway money in my pocket - and so do you Coffee break! Hurrah! And knowing you did without also has proper cheered me upI totally fell off the wagon at the weekend  must try harder!!
Friday was a NSD and I am determined today will be, tomorrow is Mr T day so that won't be but I need to get back on track if I'm going to hit 20!
True, what is Mr T day???!!!
Good luck for tomorrow peeps :wave:Sealed Pot Challenge member no:918

:rotfl::rotfl:I have bag of spinach in my freezer that has been there since the dawn of time - expiry date on it is April 2010 - so any tips on how I can "treat" myself with it would be greatly received. I actually opened it today and bunged some into my risotto. x
The ONLY way I could consider consuming spinach is either mixing it with watercress and covering it in a balsamic dressing or preferably and more suitably for winter adding it to a home made curry and simmering it into oblivion. It is sadly very good for you but..........YUCK
Coffee-break, a Mr T day is shopping at one of the major supermarkets eg. Mr T (He makes me offers I can't refuse), Mr S (a bit of posh that I can't afford), Mr A (Bog standard but hey you know what you're getting) and occasionally I go to Mr M's (Just for a quickie on the way home) and then if you're silly enough to pay the price and feel the pinch there's even Mr M&S. But I don't do pain.0
