NSD yesterday but not today, sadly. Have got to go and sort Emma's passport application out and am going to pay for the PO service.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

karenccs67 how your daughter now, horrible little scrotes grrr they make me sick :mad:.

Well i have managed to rack up 5NSD's so far, mainly because i refused to leave the house, too darn cold. Its only taking six years but woo hoo i'm a getting a new kitchen yay!!!
On Saturday my landlady agreed to pay for materials for a new kitchen :money: but as that's not my personal money spending, its the rent money she said to use it. So apart from spending it on materials on the kitchen i haven't spent much. Feeling quite chuffed with me self.
Right off to start putting clothes away again, i swear it never ends:doh:

Half way through my first NSD. Scuppered a week ago by having to buy a plectrum. Thought it was going to be tough today when the toothpaste ran out this morning!!! But found the 'brush your teeth at work' Kids Strawberry toothpaste in the car. Think I can do this :) Don't know how you lot do a string of them together though.

I would like to say that I'd achieved a NSD this weekend but no such luck. Yesterday I bought a pair of shoes for work. There had been this pair in Clarks that I really liked/wanted and I did indeed need a pair but I refused to pay full price. They were then discounted by 33% but still I thought 'You've got to be having a flipping LAUGH..........' and there I was hanging on for 50% off sale. That day came but by that time the shoes appear sold out in their online shop. So I've been sulking for the past two weeks. Yesterday I saw them in a real shop, in my size and with 50% off so I now have new shoes. Today was not a NSD either as I needed petrol and hadn't managed to get it yesterday. Sigh

Gym membership was sorted out so they are no longer demanding an extra payment from me. Hurrah! :T

The Lebanese have stopped spending my money and my bank have refunded what was taken out. I am Verrrrrrrrry happy about that. :j

Lollypop - very sorry to hear your job news. Keep your chin up - things have a way of working out for the best even if sometimes you have to get there in a round about way and suffer setbacks. Best of luck and keep us all posted

Should be able to notch up some NSD's this week. No fresh food in the fridge but I'm extremely lucky enough to get free lunches at work and have a few meals for evenings in the freezer. So I just need to hold out until Thursday when I will need to shop for BF coming up at the weekend

Keep NSD'ing guys and gals! That money is better in our pockets than theirs!

Curlygirl - thanks for your post - I was laughing out loud at it re the shoes! That's the sort of thing that I do - wait so long for reductions the bloomin thing is sold out! I hope you enjoy them - you deserve to after being so restrained!
Glad the Lebanese are not also buying shoes with your dough!

This is my first month on this NSD lark - its a wee bit harder than I thought but made me realise what a fritterer I am!

you will always be rich enough to be generous.

it appears the latest 'thing' around here & the local shops, but I don't think it's very attractive to see people wandering around swathed in towelling dressing-gowns & bunny slippers at 3:20 in the afternoon  Yeah - here too - I just DON'T get it - it looks RIDICULOUS and I just think ewwww - think of all those germs you are taking into bed with you
There's days when I don't get dressed ah-ha me too till after I've done my chores aahhh so that's why I never end up actually getting dressed - I must remember to do my chores in future [& it's those when the window cleaner, meter reader, parcel post all call embarassed.gif], but to make a habit of going out like it is taking things too far IMO.

A NSD for me today :D
