    Hi Tinks,

    Big (((hugs)))

It must be hard with people in RL knowing your situation and not knowing what to say. I should think that they just genuinely don't know what to say, and don't want to bring up the subject of your mc in fear of upsetting you.

Just take each day as it comes, and if you wait until next AF which shouldn't be far away - then at least you'll know where you are with dates etc.

It's nice to see you posting, but obviously I hope your stay on this thread is a short one

Love and sticky baby dust x

Fuzz - Thanks for the recipe love. I do have one question though. I have one onion. Should I be using all of it, or is that too much onion?

    Many thanks :)

    Thank you Sam xoxo :A

I guess waiting for CD1 will give my head a chance to get straight & my body back to normal. I have got a bit prepared yesterday and re stocked on PG tests from E Bay & the same OV kit from boots that worked for us the first time but obviously hoping that next time it will be a strong healthy sticky bean that will be very wanted and very loved.

Love & baby dust to all x
If you can think it........it will happen

I use 1 whole onion:) but depends how much you're doing I suppose, if it's just enough to feed 2(and depending how much you like onion) just use half. Otherwise chuck the whole lot in..honestly it's almost impossible to go wrong with shepherds pie! Have you got a shepherds pie mix or you using stock?(forgot to mention the stock earlier:o) Heres a basic recipe but I don't use tomatoe puree:)

I'm the fussiest eater ever - so no shepherds pie for me. Its for DH. But I've got a nice big dish, so I could fill it up and freeze the rest for another day. I don't have any stock cubes but I do have gravy granules? Can I use those?

Failing that, can you come round and cook dinner please?

    Many thanks :)

Hi Laura :). Nice to see you. How's Rusty? I want to call my next dog either Rusty or Rupert :)

Pukka - If you go to page 1 of this thread. At the bottom of the first post there is a list to allllllll the abbreviations. There are quite a few!

Crikey, theres no way I could be a fussy eater..I'll even keep trying foods I know I hate atm just incase my taste has changed:rotfl:
If you're only doing 1 portion then only use half the onion:)

    so for 1 I'd say:
    0.5 onion
    0.5 - 1 carrot
    125g Minced meat
    200g(2 decent sized) potatoes
125ml beef stock(125 ml water and keep puttin in spoons of gravy(approx 3 heaped teaspoons) until it looks/tastes like stock)
    • Chop potatoes into squares and put on to boil.
    • While they're boiling away, chop veg, then fry meat in a little oil, once meat is fried, drain of excess fat and chuck in the veg.
    • Fry for a few more minutes making sure it doesn't burn the meat and chuck in the stock and allow to simmer for about 30mins.
    • Once potatoes are done drain and mash with a little milk and butter
    • once meat etc is done put in oven proof dish and cover with mashed potato. Use a fork to make the pretty grooves in the top:D
    • Chuck in oven at 180 degrees(not fan oven) for 30-40mins
There you go....[STRIKE]the idiots[/STRIKE] my hubbies guide to cooking:D he needs step-by-step instructions bless:) Thats just a basic recipe you can pretty much chuck in whatever you want tbh...worcestershire sauce(if you have any) gives it a really nice fuller flavour too.
