Hey we are keeping this thread on the 1st page while the others are out at work- we are doing a service thy dont have to hunt for this thread when they come in! lol
On the subject of BDing does anyone feel like they cant be bothered to do it when you arent ovulating?? I feel I go full steam up to ovulation then in the last week before AF is due Im like...mmmm yeah Id rather have a cup of tea! Fell quite sorry for Oh lol

You lot crack me up! Hand shandies indeed! *snort* :rotfl: And yes, you're doing a good work keeping this on page 1 ;)

Alas (or not) retro, I'm in the camp of "the more you have, the more you want" so we BD every other day (thereabouts) from the end of AF-AF appearing :eek: This keeps everyone happy chezBitzer ;) If I don't fancy it, we don't, but he's a wily old goat that knows which buttons to press so that's rarely an issue!

    Right, must..go...do....work.....:( xx

I'm an all or nothing kind of person so kind of like the thought of having 5 days of b-dancing and then leaving it for a while (til next ov). We used to do it once a week or even two anyway - I don't mind saying that. We are the best of friends and have similar sex drives, it certainly doesn't define us. We love dtd when we do it...it's a bit like chocolate for us...can't get enough of it but then too much makes us sick. Okay, maybe not chocolate as we don't actually vomit.... I'll shut up

Thanks guys, I feel better now knowing that most of you have gone through the non-romance side of it and yes, if I'm not oving I kind of think, what is the point. Think I will give him a heartfelt apology later when he wakes up and then be ready and waiting in some silky lingerie tomorrow morning (yeah right!)

    to the newbies.

I post from work too but I'm convinved I'm going to flag myself up to our IT gustapo who will come marching in and carry me out of the building. I actually had a dream last night that I told me boss I hadn't finished something and he said "well if you didn;t spend all day on the Trying for a bay forum you might actually get some work done" I work for the NHS (not as a nurse tho) so I can say I'm doing 'research' as to TTC advice is out there for some top secret project i'm doing. Would that work?

I think I'm addicted. I need to bar myself during work hours but I just can't stay away..! :p
  • Morning ladies hope you are all well. Just to let you all know I wont be posting on here unless we get BFP on sat as we have had to make the decision to stop trying. Never thought I would hope for BFN. We really need to sort our finances out and stop kidding ourselves with another baby. I am so upset (sat here crying). I dont know who esle to turn too. If we have to go BR I will prob lose my job. Manager not in today so cant discuss with them. I guess I have just been running away from my problems thinking it would sort itself out but we cant live from one month to the next anymore

Congrats to all the who got their BFP's dont know what we will do or how I will feel if we get one at the weekend (thats so awful to think)

    Good luck to you all.xx
  • OM I'm sorry hun (((HUGS))) have you looked into DMPs??? Was a lifesaver for me and DH...we actually have a life now:) We're hoping it's short term though!
Hope you get things sorted xxx
    1.11.09 - debt = £45k:eek:
    [STRIKE]Car Loan = £0[/STRIKE] CCCS Total = £30,246.88 Total Debt Paid off - 32.78%
DFD [STRIKE]Nov[/STRIKE][STRIKE]Sept[/STRIKE]Aug 2018:o Only 75 payments to go:)
  • Oh Om Im so sorry hun- agree with Fuzz on the DMP something to look into- do you work in the financial sector? Only asking as I used to work for a disgraced bank so kinda know how they are tied when you go bankrupt but saying that I actually had a CCJ when I started there and they were ok with it but it was cleared at the time and I was totally open with them about it.....my friend has recently gone br and her boss was fantastic over it,..she works in the financial field but in insurance so they are less tied by the FSA regs etc.....I hope it works out for you hun xx

Olivia's mummy I'm so sorry for your current situation, It sounds like stopping is the best short term solution for your family so you can gain longterm financial security. We all run away from things but sounds like you are confronting it and I wish you the best of luck and maybe you can return when the finances/job situation is more settled. <hugs> Do not be a stranger x

Also, reiterate the dmp idea - worked wonders for my OH who cleared £26k in 3 years

Look at you lot - i pop out for half an hour to fetch extra paint and some bread for lunch and you become raucous. Hubby was choking on his butty reading over my shoulder and said we are all mentalists
Says he who has managed to lose two tins of gloss and a pack of paint brushes between the loft and the garage:rotfl:

Did a pg test today the first one after two and a half weeks to make sure i still had bfn following mc, Still feeling tired and achy but getting no sleep and arthritis playing up really is not helping.

Sat munching my way through a trifle at min while i anxiously wait for hte child mental health duty officer to ring me regarding my son - why do these things take so ling for emergency??

OM - dont totally give up hope on getting the bfp, you have one child already so the financial out lay is not as much 2nd time around.

A question for you all - do you do your tests on your own or with OH?

So far I have done them alone. I got a bfp in Nov after 1st month of trying at 8am and had to wait til OH came home at 5pm to tell him.
I put a bunch of flowers on the table with a note which had the numbe)rs 1-5 written on with number 2 ticked. I then went and hid in the cupboard under the stairs so when he found me and opened it, he saw the clearblue digi test (non-speaking version;)) with "pregnant 1-2 weeks" straight away.
It was really sweet as it was Friday 18th Dec and his last day before xmas holidays. The flowers lived longer than the baby though and I only just put them in the bin on Sunday:(

Well, high noon is here and since I long since killed the thread I'll leave you fine ladies to natter on into the evening and catch up on the morrow. xx
  • Hi Ladies

OM - That is a sensible decision. I know it is making you upset know but you are looking at the bigger picture.

I have done my poas with DH there.

We would not of started to TTC if we were not comfortable finacially.

Bit of an update about me, I have stopped bleeding !!! Not getting too excited yet will see how I go the rest of the day, small amount there when I wipe but thats it. So fingers crossed its over. Will never forgot our lost baby though.
