    Afternoon, Ladies

I post from work, but only when I have a little downtime - been a busy few days so I haven't been on ... and whoosh, what a lot of posts to read through now I finally have a moment! Phew!

LL, loved the poem - bless, it was great!

Hello to the newbies. Still a newby myself, but welcome! They're a bit crackers in here, but nice enough! :D

Congrats and hugs to all as appropropriate (sorry that was a broad sweep but I'd be here all day otherwise!).

OM, sounds like a sensible decision. Hopefully you will get yourselves sorted and be back here soon.
Penny, glad you seem to be recovering both physically and emotionally. Special hugs and best wishes to you.

No news from me, but we are not being overly scientific at the moment, seeing as it is early days for us, and we just want to enjoy it for what it is. Three ladies at work are pregnant, so hopefully I will catch what they got! I am off to do a few spins in their chairs when I get a moment!

    Over and out for now,
    A x

Well the coil came out on monday very painless i couldn't believe she had done it.
And so it begins, unfortunately DH is on nights so no baby making yet but i've washed my matching undies for the weekend so heres hoping ha ha ha.

Unfortunately DD (3) heard us in the kitchen discussing it and has now told everyone and playgroup that we are having a baby and announced in front of my mum that daddy will stop smoking when mummy has a baby in her tummy!!!!!!
Luckily mum didn't hear her as i am unsure as to what her reaction will be, not sure why but i have always felt nervous about telling her i am pg think it is still the teen in me (i'm 33) that feels my mum will be cross!!!!!
Hope you all well i am thinking of you all xxxxxx

    Morning you gorgeous lot!

Right, not so much TMI but maybe TMI wanted...when you look for EWCM (and please don't laugh..:rotfl:) but are we looking for raw egg or boiled egg??? Because to me raw egg isn't white!? But then surely it would then be called BECM?? I'm only confused because someone was talking about it yesterday and said it should be creamy? Agh I'm confused! :o

    Meringue is also bad..

    :rotfl: :rotfl::rotfl:

This is the biggest laugh I've evr had on this board - thank you so much ladies :D

But Dinky - I'm not laughing at you, its just the picture of all these eggs :rotfl:

Anyway, from a lay man point of view (ie me - who needs to have things explained to me like I'm a 3 year old), let me explain. Cervical Mucus (CM) is the vaginal discharge that we lucky ladies get that spoils our nice panties (or is that just me?). Before ttc you don't really take much notice what form it takes. When you start ttc and become more aware of what your body is doing, then you notice the changes. CM can come in different forms - thick and creamy, watery, slippery (but not stretchy) and EWCM (Egg White Cervical Mucus). Now, EWCM is what you are looking for as this is a sign that you are ovulating. Your body produces EWCM as it is a vehicle used to carry the sperm to meet the egg. So EWCM is good.

Now, why is it called EWCM? If you took a raw egg out of your fridge and cracked it open into a bowl, there would be 2 parts to the egg - the yellow yolk and the egg white (the clear stretchy stuff). This is why the CM that comes out of our wanny is called EWCM, because if you put it between your fingers, it is clear and quite thick and stretchy just like the raw egg white.

So basically, it doesn't matter how you like your eggs in the morning, when we say EWCM we mean the above.

Ive done a bit of a waffly explanation, I hope that helps. We're all here to learn. I wouldn't know half the stuff I know if it wasnt for the ladies on this thread.

We should really write a book :)

Hugs and sticky baby dust to all x

OM DMP is debt management plan..I'm with CCCS and they have been fab...look at my sig for the debts:o We were just keeping our head above water but got so fed up with it, then DHs hours got reduced so, after advice on the DFW board called CCCS who got us up and running on DMP:) We pay 400 p/m to creditors and the creditors have all stopped charging us interest so we're actually paying off what we owe:D Heres a link to CCCSs website, theres also Payplan and another one I can't think of but I've heard nothing but good things about CCCS and can vouch for them:cool: Fill out their debt remedy and see if its for you:)
Was such a weight lifted once everything got sorted on the plan for us and the best thing is CCCS budget that they give you tends to be well over what you actually spend..eg we spend approx £160p/m on food for our budget CCCS 'allows' us £265:eek::eek::eek: They must think we're big fat bloaters:rotfl::rotfl:
    1.11.09 - debt = £45k:eek:
    [STRIKE]Car Loan = £0[/STRIKE] CCCS Total = £30,246.88 Total Debt Paid off - 32.78%
DFD [STRIKE]Nov[/STRIKE][STRIKE]Sept[/STRIKE]Aug 2018:o Only 75 payments to go:)

    Hi OM,

Sorry to hear your troubles. A DMP is a Debt Management Plan. Basically, you come to an agreement with your creditors that you will pay them x amount per month and usually they agree to freeze interest and to get the debt collectors off your back. You can do this yourself, but it is advisable to go through one of the debt help charities like CCCS. They do not charge you a fee through this. This then allows you the money to pay for all your necessities and whatever is left over you can start to pay off your debts. CCCS contact number is on the debt free wannabee board.

    Good luck :)
