Trying for a Baby part 5....

Is it me or do I always kill the thread? I'm going to rant mercilessly then go and make scones.
My OH works in IT so maybe he could put a block on me accessing the forum until the weekend only or something. That should do the trick and free up the thread for all of you. I'm boring myself now. I just need a job to keep me occupied. It should be a week or 3 of waiting once this awful crb check is complete. I've had about 8 CRBs in 2 years so why this process isn't getting any quicker is beyond me:mad:
I'm actually a failed academic and left uni in Nov cos I didn't feel I was on the right course again and was conscious of the baby-making plans.
2 Unis, 2 different courses, quit both times in 2 years.
- nearly 32 and still haven't got it right. Most people are settled into worklife and I feel like I'm only just beginning!!! I'm stuck between choosing psychology or social work as I enjoy helping people, problem-solving and research.
Just wish I could get my act together and be a proper grownup or what use will I be as a mum.
Rant over... Off to make scones.

Anyway, not had chance to ring OH yet but this is the text I've just received from him after calling him useless this morning.

"If you hurry home from work we can get one in before I have to set off, up to you though if you want to try again with you useless boyfriend"

Ouch - that cut me deep! - Anyway, have just rang him to apologise so am finishing work a bit earlier to get home for some BD action. Yay!!!

LL - you didnt scare me off, i had to vac up after hubbies painting and now am uploading photos to photobox to get free pics so i can get them framed. Bought a frame in Morrisons the other day and i dont wanna hack to death pics we had printed as a gift so thought i'd get some freebies and not feel guilty.

Hi all, been a crap busy day at work but having taken a quick break to look at your posts since lunch you have made me smile - you mad bunch lol !
Making scones sounds lovely, going to try and make time this weekend to do some baking.
