Evening ladies
Had an absolute cowbag of a day today. The snow this eve hasn't helped.
Just having a quick bath then taking myself to bed.
Hubby is doing his exercise at the min so by the time he's showered I'll be well in the land of nod....
Have had a few laughs catching up on here tonight
Night all - 'see' you in the morn

Night Sparkle - hope you have a better day tomorrow :j0

Right guys, its come to the time that I need to bow out gracefully and move along to the early pregnancy thread. Will still pop in and hope to see you all graduate to the thread very soon!
You are all a lovely bunch. I'm sad to leave your company!
Wish me luck!:j Comping Newbie :j

Is it me or do I always kill the thread? I'm going to rant mercilessly then go and make scones.
My OH works in IT so maybe he could put a block on me accessing the forum until the weekend only or something. That should do the trick and free up the thread for all of you. I'm boring myself now. I just need a job to keep me occupied. It should be a week or 3 of waiting once this awful crb check is complete. I've had about 8 CRBs in 2 years so why this process isn't getting any quicker is beyond me:mad:
I'm actually a failed academic and left uni in Nov cos I didn't feel I was on the right course again and was conscious of the baby-making plans.
2 Unis, 2 different courses, quit both times in 2 years.
- nearly 32 and still haven't got it right. Most people are settled into worklife and I feel like I'm only just beginning!!! I'm stuck between choosing psychology or social work as I enjoy helping people, problem-solving and research.
Just wish I could get my act together and be a proper grownup or what use will I be as a mum.
Rant over... Off to make scones.
I know where you are coming from re the whole career thing i switched between jobs and every year i would decide i wanted to be something else, it wasn't until i had my first baby that i realised all i wanted to do was be a mum and a wife!!!!
I am form a high achieving family and always felt i SHOULD be doing something even though i actually had no desire whatsoever to have a career.
The relief i felt when i accepted my decision was palpable, although i do still sometimes turn to DH and say "i know I'm gonna do teaching" he just nods and says yes dear!!!!
This may well not be the case for you but perhaps something to consider?I don't get nearly enough credit for not being a violent psychopath.0 -

Morning ladies
I did a bit of lurking yesterday and I have to say that you cracked me up! Loved all of the EW discussion and then Retro and Legs' tiff...:rotfl: It was some well timed light relief. And Fuzz, where do you get those fab smilies from? - they're brill!
Good luck with the pregnancy Red Rose - I hope everything goes smoothly. Its been brief (you lucky thing!) but we'll miss you. I hope that there will be plenty more of us joining you in the near future though!
Fairly busy day at work today but I'll post when I can. Hope its a good one for you all
