I post from work too but I'm convinved I'm going to flag myself up to our IT gustapo who will come marching in and carry me out of the building.

    :rotfl:

I can just imagine an armed raid on my office now by the IT gustapo... I'm off!!

    hi lady
I know where you are coming from re the whole career thing i switched between jobs and every year i would decide i wanted to be something else, it wasn't until i had my first baby that i realised all i wanted to do was be a mum and a wife!!!!
This may well not be the case for you but perhaps something to consider?

Pukkamum Your post really struck a chord. Thank you:Ax

Dusty I can't actually find medical evidence supporting the foetal position after sex, it's just something I tend to do a lot naturally at night. In my little world I think I am helping the process:p - and on a practical level, less gism leaks out and spoils the sheets:D Although on the Askamum website this sentence stayed with me:
"If you want to get pregnant, lie on your side and draw your knees into your stomach."
Suppose it is just a comfort thing. I get too cold with my legs up in the air - and just feels really daft and clinical to me. :)

Just before I go...I'm being naughty and feeding my obsession! I've bought ov tests and pg tests from eBay so I'm going to be going PIAC crazy this month! :p

I've usually got a 30 day cycle so I've always assumed that I ov around day 14 - 16 ish...the paperwork that came with the tests tell me that I shouldnt start testing with the ov test until day 16...surely that cant be right?! I've got plenty so I think I will start from day 11 to be sure I catch it...DH had better be ready! :kisses2:
What do you think? Am I doing the right thing by starting ov testing earlier? :undecided
  • morning all.

Well, since it is ttc-related, I'll come back in for a sec :D

I ov around day 12/13 and have 28day cycle and start with ov sticks day 10 so I'd say day 11 testing sounds fine...in addition to your eggwhite cm of course.

Ooh, here is a word I discovered yesterday... Spinnbarkeit.
This describes the stretchiness of one's cervical mucus.
    It's like Reader's Digest today!

No lady not too much, I find it is best not to beat around the bush on these matters. :D 'Spinnbarkeit' I like it. So the more spinnbarkeit my cervical mucus is the better, yes?

What have you got to do that is more important than teaching us new words on here anyway? x
  • morning peeps!
