Trying for a Baby part 5....

Hi - I've been reading for a while, and thought I'd say hello!
It seems like there are 2 kinds of posters on here - the enthusiastic newbies, who are generally rewarded in short order with BFPs, and good luck to them too!
And the increasingly fraught not-so-newbies, who are starting to feel the fear...(but really deserve that BFP!)
Fertility/infertility seems like such a coin toss. So unfair!
I'm a battle-weary veteran of long-term infertility. I have one DS, who took 3 and a half years to conceive (naturally, but after a lap and dye), and I've been TTC#2 since Sep 09, to no avail.
I somehow naively imagined #2 would be easier, after cracking it once, but it seems not. !!!!!!.
Anyway...bdta!0 -
Hi, chickpea *waves* I'm not so much enthusiastic as procrastinating over my marking! Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0

Quaver to be honest I don't think you should doctor your bd dates as that isn't fair on the consultants as you aren't giving them a true picture of whats been going on.
Like SK says though and don't take this the wrong way if you have only dtd once at the correct time then don't be suprised if they tell you they won't help. I can't even get my doctor to listen to me and thats with 7 cycles of perfectly timed bd'ing each and every month
I know its hard for you as your OH isn't always around at the peak time but the first thing they are likely to say is that you haven't got much chance of getting pregnant if you aren't bd'ing enough.
I hope EA has a lovely day today. The weather is perfect sunny but not too hot.
It's my EDD today, am not feeling as sad as I thought I would be. Am catching up on a few things on Sky+ and then am going to start painting our bedroom as OH is on a stag do. Am hoping I can see this as a bit of turning point in trying to get over my mmc and look forward to the future. We will get our baby no matter how long it takes!
In other news was really happy to have lost 3.5lbs in my first week of doing Slimming World - thats given me a nice little kick start so hoping I can keep up the good work from now onOne day Rodney we'll be millionaires£2020 in 2020 - Running Total £170 -

Fantafan, did you ov on CD21? You are only 6DPO!
Stop testing
Slapped wrists I know :Abut I think I already think I'm not and would be due on any second now. TMI but there's tinges of red when I wipe. I'm ok with it. Not going to cry or anything because it's my first test so I don't psyc myself up for a BFP. I think well, it's gonna be BFN so that if it's not I'll probably wet myself! I suppose as DH is a bit of a drinker I assume his swimmers are so !!!!!!-faced that they couldn't find an egg if it came and slapped them on it's face. Although, I would love twins and mum was one and Dad has 3 sets on his side...who am I kiddin, just 1 will do!:rotfl:
Pants weather up north. A whole sky of clouds but warm. Gonna drag myself out of bed (hehehe!)
Well done on S/world Fairy. As an ex-target member I really need to get my act together. I even bought the Alli but it's stuck in the packet and I daren't try it especially TTC. I have to lose just over 2 stone:eek:. Christ, it sounds really bad when you type it. Saying it seems easier!:rotfl:
SBTA and hope you're getting nicer weather than me and enjoying it!0 -
