Congrats on the BFP Chakani, hope everything goes well for you.
My CBFM is driving me mad, CD 20 today and still high and no peak and I can't work out if its me doing the sticks wrong or if its just a weird month following my extra short month in May, I collect my 4 or 5am urine sample (as I'm always up in the night) and I use that after I get up properly as I think the later urine may not be as concntrated, but not sure if thats a bad idea leaving it a couple of hours- anyone any experience?

Hi All

Lots of new names in here, not posted for a while but have been lurking.

I am still finding it tough from MC in Jan. But I am not getting any younger in fact I am 37 this year so if I ever want to be a mummy we will have to get cracking soon.

Been using contraception since MC, but decided will stop using it now....slight problem though was at doctors on Wednesday as my periods are acting strange they think it may be yet more problems caused by MC so had some tests taken will get the results on Monday and also having a scan Monday, to be honest I so dont want the scan, I had so many of them in Decemeber I am not looking forward to that at all. But got to check all is in order.

So although not using contraception I wont be using CBFM either or checking ov dates etc..keeping it very laid back I am an emotionally still very raw.

But we have a stunning nursery would be nice to have a baby in.

So back to aspirin and high dose folic acid !!

So get Monday out of the way now.....

Congrats Chakani and Hi Penny. Sorry you sound so blue. I have never concieved so can't imagine what you must be going through but for what it's worth, I think you are making the right approach to things. Some people trying TTC on here and have been to docs have been told to put CBFM aside. I'm a bit ocd and like to research everything to the enth degree so even if we don't get it on, at least I know when the days are.

I'm getting really tempted to test early - just to put me out of my misery I think. Have this weird thing that I'm not sympton spotting but my head is preparing for a negative test even though af (or implantation?) spotting is going on. I think I can hold out til Sunday/Monday as Sunday would be CD28...cycles have be 19, 30, 26 and when I wake up Saturday it will be CD27 for me. I've never tested since TTC on here (mind you never DTD at the right time to justify it).... apart from the panicky times years ago when I didn't want it to happen for practical reasons. Now I'd welcome any happy accidents.

Have the house to myself this weekend. Lush but quiet. I just rattle around. I've finished my beginner snowboarding course tonight and am going to give it a break for a month to allow the bruises and strained muscles to heal although I did enjoy so much tonight....well, last night.

Oh well, time to sleep.....Oiche mhaith x

Hmmmmm, yeah, about that. I found out last night that that wasn't the advice I should have been given. When we get referred to the fertility clinic, the first thing they'll do if we haven't been charting is send us away for 3 months to gather some data :mad:

I'm absolutely fuming. It's gonna be at least another 3-6 months before we get a fertility referral then to have to wait another 3 months on top of that would almost make it 2 damn years!!! The GP might not be in any rush, but time isn't on my side! Something must be wrong, we haven't even managed to conceive once in 12 cycles of perfectly timed BD.
