Q i haven't got one either yet, too late for this month so gonna see if anyone gets a positive who wants to sell on their machine lol0

Mine on its first month started asking on CD6 and stopped asking this morning at CD 16 after 2 peak days and 1 high. Today went back to low but didnt want a test but assuming i have to keep switching it on every morning.I Used 10 sticks. I have a 27 / 28 day cycle.
I've found it really easy to use and most important to me is that there is no noise from it. I was expecting it to beep etc but its all in silence. Very important when you have other people in the house or go away with others
Sorry to those not using a CBFM about all the talk. Hope we are not annoying or putting off any posters or lurkers! Other methods are also used by members of the forum and are happily discussed!0 -
Hi All,
Might be the only man in this thread, but just wanted to say hi and wonder if anyone has any advice, OH came off pill around xmas time and have been trying to concieve since then. We have these test sticks and have been using them since last month but nothing happend so far.

A catching up as couldn’t get on much yesterday.
Welcome Maryann, worriedmummy – hope your stays here are short.
Congratulations Lizzieb – sounds like you have a bfp on your hands there! Wishing you a very happy and healthy pregnancy and a sticky bean.
Lucy welcome to you. I find like a lot of the others have said my worst point of the month is when AF comes as I get quite down in the dumps (am sure you can relate). Ss soon as I have got my head around it I look at the forthcoming month as a new opportunity and my PMA soon comes bounding back again. I find trying to keep busy so that your mind is off ttc as much as possible helps – especially in the 2ww. I know that is easier said than done though. Good luck I hope you aren’t here too long.
I paid £50 for my CBFM off Ebay so I would try there as they go for good prices on there both new and second hand. I paid £11 for 20 of the sticks for the monitor on Ebay too – again they are quite a bit cheaper on there. Am on the last two days of my cycle now as AF is due on Thursday so not sure whether I will need it but am glad to see there are other people who are going to be newbies in using it too so I will have people to compare to if I start using it next cycle.
My temp went right down to 97.90 which wasn’t far off my coverline of 97.77 at 11dpo. This morning my temp went up to 98.34 so not sure what’s going on as I was expecting it to go down under the coverline and then AF to arrive tomorrow. Will have to wait and see what tomorrows temp brings – am assuming it will go down though ready for AF on Thursday as predicted by Fertilty Friend.
Hope you manage to sort flights tomorrow Giz!

Hi and welcome MrMoonX:j
I think you are the only man on this thread, but hope you'll stay. It takes 2 to tango so to speak. I wonder why there aren't more men like you?
It may take some time for your OH's cycle to settle after the pill.
Also, she may be ovulating, but the opks are not detecting it. It does not always work. Has she tried it in the afternoon? I heard that is the time the LH hormones surges?0 -
Hi guys, just got an email from a company I once bought cheap preg and OV test sticks from.
It's not much off but still :money: so someone might want it.

Hello to the new folk including MrMoon - Very good to see a man on here for a change, hope you stick around.
Re when to DTD, if it helps, as you all know, my OH is going to get his swimmers tested at 3.30pm on friday and has been told he can't ejaculate from 3.30pm today (tues), to make sure his swimmers are firing on all cylinders, that's 3 days!
I want a CBFM too, if no BFP by the time we get back off holiday in June then I think we'll purchase.
I'm very giddy today, just managed to bag 4 tickets to see Peter Kay warm up gig on Saturday night and also found out this morning I've won 2 tickets to the ballet tomorrow night, looks like a busy week!0
