FF sorry your morning didnt go as you'd hoped
You're not alone..lots of blokes arent the stereotypical always up for it types, and I also think men take the whole sex and 'performance' thing very seriously, and are easily hurt/put off by the tiniest of things.
They're big children at the end of the day!
Hope you sort things out soon XMetranil dreams of becoming a neon,You don't even take him seriously,How am I going to get to heaven?,When I'm just balanced so precariously..0 -

Evening lovelies
Hope you all have had a good Sunday. Sun was shining here so I got a couple of hours tidying up in the garden done, so it's looking halfway decent for the summer.
FF - Sorry about the argument with OH. I've been there - arguing when you know you have to dtd at that particular time! I think the pressure we put on ourselves doesnt help either. Why not plan a lovely evening for when he gets back on Wed?
Sparkle - Teaching fair was great thanks. Bit of information overload though, so loads to think about
TAN - I would LOVE to go to Vegas. Never been. One day though hopefully
Cedrickerry - Good luck with the IVF. Fingers crossed you won't need it though x
Oops, battery low. Have a loveely evening all. Sticky baby dust and all x0 -
Thanks to everyone so far. Support is really helpful and having like-minded people a tonic.
DH has sent me a text explaining that I am putting too much pressure on and it's feeling like a chore rather than taking time to enjoy each other. He'll call me tonight but if I'm honest, I don't want to talk to him. My BFF is coming tomorrow for 2 days which will help.
I thought I was doing the best thing by buying the CB Fertility monitor...yes it tells me when is the best time to DTD and I am trying to be discrete and not tell him when but it's a bit obvious when we don't do it for weeks and then suddenly I'm a maniac. He even used the word obsessive in his text and Christ, we're only on our first month of trying at the right time really. If he thinks that's obsessive, I'm sure I'll be even more neurotic a couple of months from now!
As the song goes "you aint seen nothing yet, b-b-b-baby you just aint seen nothing yet"
You guys are cheering me up knowing I've in a weird way got people listening to me as I type.

I'd prefer it if he never asks me about that:o Can't he act as though he's just doing it for enjoyment rather than baby making?
OK, I chart, take temps, check cm and take multivitamins, but I don't talk about it to OH, I post it here:cool:0 -
It's interesting hearing others experiences with their OH's and the whole BD thing.
Mine is kind of a combination of both FF and Q's...he wants to know when it's my fertile time and he's desperate for a bub, but at the same time he finds the whole 'DTD to order' really tough.
I do too though ...the whole thing can become a real chore, uncomfortable and a bit embarassing.Metranil dreams of becoming a neon,You don't even take him seriously,How am I going to get to heaven?,When I'm just balanced so precariously..0 -
Chore...another of the words he used in his text. Also Love you but I'm glossing over that one and still focussing on the obsessed bit. Well, I may as well be what he says I am.
Kind of copped out of chatting to him tonight by texting "off to bed" at stupidoclock - I never go to bed early. He didn't get the hint tho and phoned home and mobile phone.
Will take your kind advice tho sammy_girl and make a meal on Wednesday...you never know if I play it cool and haven't OV'd they might just be a chance.
Got 3 days/2 nights to calm self and get out of my mood. Think I'll go spending to take my mind of things.0 -
thanks for the helpful advice, i have the proper thermometer and have been taking it before i get up. Mostly i've just been confused by the fact that it says you should have 4 hours sleep etc yet i generally end up getting up for the toilet during the night and to have a drink of water. Hope that doesn't affect everything.0

CD9 for me. But we trying as much as possible as OH doesnt mindOnly thing is that since coming off all my anxiety tablets - diazapem & amitryptiline is that my eczema has come back slightly & my panic attacks and sleepless nights have returned. Doc said it was ok to take meds until i gota BFP but after 6 months with a BFN i have decided to have willpower and cope without them.
I know what u are all saying about facebook. My friend has just found out she is havin twins and uploaded scan - shock as she said she wanted no more. Havebt spoken to her since july and 2 others have also uploaded scan pics and 5 just had babies. Makes me look forward to the day i can do that
The OH talks to my belly already - has picked a name for each sex for when the lucky BFP eventually arrives

Getting up in the night doesn't generally affect it. I do it just before I get up - bought the thermometer off eBay and they emailed charts etc.
I watched a programme recently with a guy who tested out body temperature drops... he was out in the freezing snow for 10 minutes and it dropped about a degree causing near hypothermia.
I think it's best to take it around the same time every morning and whilst you are relaxed and before any hot/cold drinks are consumed.
