Trying for a Baby part 5....

Well, I kind of think it would be lovely to BD every three days but in the real world (for me) that's a non-starter. I'm on day 13 with the machine and thinking tomorrow might be the day it tells me I'm OV or Wednesday.
After having lunch with a (gay) friend, he's kind of brought me down to earth from a blokes perspective. 90% of my life is great with DH. It's the 10% sex life that isn't. I think I'm just apprehensive.. I waited 12 years for him to propose and didn't want a baby out of marriage so 15 years together I just want to take it to the next level. It's callous to say but if he delivered the goods, I could be as equally non-bothered about DTD. It's a bit like somebody (sorry can't remember the name) said that when her OH suggested DTD outside of fertile time - what's the point.
Think I'm getting bitter over it all today. Off to the pub with some girlfriends so that should help.

But you want the baby to be born out of a loving dtd session, not out of some unromantic 5 mins job:p

Going to test in the morning I think although really not expecting a BFP. Absolutely no PG or AF symptoms at all and I have gone to CD42 before.

Make it 3 - you have inspired me to use the CBFM now, our ebay cheapys have never given a positive reading so think will purchase when next AF arrives

Going for my scan to check I'm on working order on friday. So will let you guys know how it goes.

Re DTD - as OH works nights we only really get to DTD at weekend, unless i think it is OV time then make the effort to do it in the morning. Wish we could DTD in a non-forced way every 2-3 days, I'm sure we havent been doing it at the right time of the month so far.

There's no way either OH or I could be bothered to DTD every 2 or 3 days..I'm knackered when I get home from work!

Weekends are normally the time as we can have a bit of a lie in.

At the moment I'm struggling to stay up past 9.30!

i'm another one who can't imagine dtd every 2-3 days.

i think we're gonna attempt to dtd from wed onwards. It's our 3rd anni. of our meeting each other (in person) so i shall just remind him.

as an aside i'm just wondering why us woman have to do everything... i've had to point out to OH that he should send his mother some flowers for mothers day, guess which mug has now had to do everything including make the bloomin card! yep me, and i'm not one of her favourite people. if she does bother to call to say that they've arrived i'm sure it will only be because there's something wrong with them! sorry winge over
