Trying for a Baby part 5....

Hello ladies, sorry to hear AF has caught up with some of you.
MMC says AF due for me today but no symptoms so far. Fully expecting it though after BFN on tues so it's a waiting game. My cycle has gone to CD42 in the past so god knows when it will arrive.

Not up to much today, our cat is in the groomers so I'm off to pick him up soon, will call in morrisons too to get the ingredients for tonights cooking experiment, peanut butter chicken curry. Hope it's nice.

Think I'm being taken out for lunch by OH tomorrow so a lovely food filled weekend lies ahead.

I've cleared some junk yesterday night, and went to the tip with my old CRT TV this morning. Came back to find Dixons delivery van (new TV) waiting outside my house:shocked: They said they'll deliver sometime between 12:30 & 4:30pm. They came before 12. Good thing I made it_pale_

Well, not sure if this is the right thing to do but I'm off out on a cycle ride after DTD this morning. OV will be monday and DH is off to Ireland tomorrow til Wednesday :0(
Hey ho, at least I'm learning the acronyms.
I'm not sure I'm going to be buying any tester kits til I know I might be and missed AF. I'm too scared to be disappointed. When I do buy them I want it to be a shiny ones that tells me in plain english rather than getting a line or a circle. :0)

Onwards and upwards, lets hope the cycle ride gives hubby energy and his little swimmers a spurt of energy!

Not sure if I'd do the whole announcing/scan pictures on facebook thing, having seen in here how much hurt it unintentionally causes to others. Which is not to say that people shouldn't. Just that I'd be worried I was upsetting someone and I know how horrible it is to want something and see everyone else get it.

Ooh, I was reading something about artificial insemination (not the petri dishes stuff but inserting sperm) and it was recommended that a short while after the sperm is introduced the woman should try to reach a climax because the pulses help the sperm to get to the target. Wondered if it might help us too. Demand our OHs not only get us pillows and make us tea but also give us a bit of stimulation shortly after the deed is done.

Afternoon ladies.

OH and I have been busy today fitting a new door and varnishing it. We were meant to be going out for dinner tonight with my best friend and her OH, but OH still has man flu and is feeling lousy, and I'm not feeling 100%, so we're opting for a night in, favourite take away, bottle of wine and Most Haunted on tv

CD18 for me today...i doubt i'll have struck it lucky this month but keeping fingers crossed

I'm kind of trying to be discrete and not even tell him that it's time let alone ask for a pillow and a brew. He's supportive, don't get me wrong but the more mental pressures he has the less he delivers the goods. Doesn't help with him being away at OV time but I'm hoping to DTD tonight and bought underwear and alcohol! I seem to have married a non-typical bloke who doesn't have sex on the brain constantly. Hey, he's wonderful in a million other ways but can take or leave the deed.:)

FF my OH is the same! I think it's a complete myth that all blokes are constantly 'up for it'.

My OH would just as happily play his guitars or make some music in his music room as BD with me!

The last few weeks he's felt really under pressure on the whole baby making thing too, so it's been a bit of a strain.

I know he loves me loads..just he doesnt want to jump my bones constantly!

Ok, the abbv I can remember off the top of my head are:

AF - Aunty Flow (Period)

BFP - Big Fat Positive (a positive pregnancy test)

BFN - Big Fat Negative (a negative preg test)

BD or DTD - Baby Dance or Do/Did The Dance (Sex)

2WW - Two Week Wait (the two weeks from when you ov'd to when AF is due

OV - Ovulation (when your egg is released)

OPK - Ovulation Predictor Kits (you can use these on a daily basis when AF ends. You POAS and 2 lines will show a positive which means you're ovulating)

POAS or PIAC - Pee On A Stick or Pee In A Cup (when you take a pg or opk test)

I'm sure I'll remember some more. If you don't understand any abbv, just ask.
