Wondered if it might help us too. Demand our OHs not only get us pillows and make us tea but also give us a bit of stimulation shortly after the deed is done.
I've read that climaxing after he has is good for getting sperm to the target...might have been on the babycenter website. Not sure. I think it makes perfect sense and I did it last month
I've been feeling so much better today, I'm convinced the wheat free has made an improvement. Usually I'm suffering terribly for a few days and it takes 10 days to get back to completely normal. Well I feel pretty good today considering it's day 2. I even drove to mums without any pain what so ever (40 min drive) when usually I'd be curled up in pain on the sofa with a hot water bottle.
I keep changing my mind about holidays. We were going to have a beach holiday in September, but now I'm thinking if I'm not pg by April we should book a beach holiday for May. I know you can fly when pregnant but I'm not sure I want the worry of not being in my own country (I worry too much about everything) - so if I did get pg now, we'd probably have a UK holiday instead.Baby Giz born 6/2/110 -
gizmodo, what made you think you should give up wheat? I'm determined to get to the bottom of my IBS but it's all so confusing and its so hard giving things up when you don't really know if it matters or notProud to be a moneysaver! :cool:0

glad i'm not the only one with an OH who's not obsessed by DTD. Love him dearly though and we're starting our proper first month of TTC (spent last 3 mths waiting for AF to start). Now just need AF to stop! it's not been heavy or anything but just always there for the last week, i had hoped my system would have sorted itself out but i feel like i'm back to where i was before i started back on the pill.
I've been taking my temp but i'm not sure exactly how it works, guess i need to do some more research.0 -

Afternoon ladies,
Not been able to get on for a little while, work has been so crazy and hubby was working away all last week so made the most of my eves out n about visiting people.
Only on my phone now while I have a quick bath so had a quick read back
Glad AF finally arrived Giz, at least you know you're on for a new start now
Sammy, how did you find the teaching fair thingy?
CD43 for me. No sign of AF whatsoever. Contemplating going to the docs as since last June had no natural AF only ones induced by acupuncture.....
Having a lovely weekend with hubby, we went to Meadowhall last night and I got a gorgeous new dress from All Saints. I love their stuff so much but it's so expensive - still - a treat once in a while can't hurt right?
Also planning my 30th birthday party for Sept, was looking at rooms to hire yest - just waiting to hear back from the one I really want.
And, omg, went yesterday to enrol for pole fitness classes with my SIL. Really excited actually. I already have an x pole at home but I'm so weak and feeble all I can do is cling on for dear life whilst squeaking and sliding down. Not the look I was going for really!! They supposed to be great for fitness and weight loss tho so here I go!!
Loving hearing all the talk of hols on here
Right, better get on, didn't mean to waffle.
Love and sticky baby dust

TMI alert: I was ill every 4 to 6 weeks with what I thought was food poisoning, when I went to the docs I found out I have been technically constipated for as long as I can remember (I have type 1 on the bristol stool chart). They told me to drink more and eat more wholemeal so I did. Even though I was really healthy I was still constipated and had these food poisoning like episodes. Later I came off the pill and had bleeding from the rectum - but it only ever happens when I'm on my period. I was told I probably had hemmoroids from the constipation. This went on - I was ill every month, I pushed the docs who suggested IBS and stress being the trigger. Finally had a sigmoidoscopy in Dec which diagnosed me with Proctitis. At one point I was worried I might have Endo, but I think that's unlikely now.
Now I know googling is bad, but I read lots about people giving up wheat for IBS, proctitis and my friend that has Endo has gone gluten free which helps her massively. So I figured it may help. 6 weeks down the line and I've had several type 3/4 stools (which is good), and the least painful 'real' period (OK so the first day was still BAD and required a day off work and no sleep - but I've recovered much quicker than usual). I see my consultant about the results of my sigmoidoscopy at the end of the month - I'm not sure he'll be happy about me taking things into my own hands - especially as he told me to increase wholegrain.Lemon_Tree wrote: »I've been taking my temp but i'm not sure exactly how it works, guess i need to do some more research.
There's a link to a chart you can print out. The most important thing is to take your temp using a thermometer to 2dp, and to try and take it the same time each day and before you get out of bed.
I don;t think charting can be used to work out when you will ovulate, it's to tell you when you have ovulated. There will be an increase in temperature after you've ovulated.Baby Giz born 6/2/110 -

You sound in the same situation as me. This is kind of cycle 2 but really the first one for trying on what would be the right days (i've just got my AF and mid-OV bleed mixed up. Oh I should b glad they are so light that I can't tell but it's a !!!!!! when you need to know for sure for trying).
My day I thought started great by attempting to DTD which all went a bit wrong and has resulted in an argument and me being home along for 3 days. Why can't blokes understand that ignoring a problem means it doesn't disappear? Am hoping to be OCD on cleaning this aft followed by tv and jammie dodgers (why-o-why did I give up chocolate???).
Unfortunately, I'm not hopeful this month as I'm on day 12, he's not back til day 15 and to have a conversation would be nice rather than DTD.
Has anybody any advice on how to get your fella to work less, drink less and love DTD more? Bloody underwear was a waste of money.0 -
Enough self-pity.
Happy Sunday.
This was really useful before I got the CB Fertility Monitor as it tells you the few days before OV giving you extra time

I seem to have married a non-typical bloke who doesn't have sex on the brain constantly. Hey, he's wonderful in a million other ways but can take or leave the deed.:)
Me too ......! have DTD once since October when told chances of naturally conceiving were next to none:eek: Before that it was mainly just at the "right " time
Think I'm turning him round though ...clomid started, his smoking stopped and 4 months before we go on IVF list ....keep saying wouldn't it be good if we proved them wrong...2009 total raised £2373.60:jthe new garden beat me in 2010 just £1306.66:o2011 - 365 £ a day.
Life Changing October 2011 - DF & £10000 saved - twins came - no plans
