With regards to the social worker issue, the SW in the previous area may have closed the case, but if they haven't then the file is always passed over to the new area. It may take a while for the file to get through the system though, and be allocated a new SW in the new area. Has she lived there for long?
And looking at her mental health, it may seem like it is getting worse, but it is probably because she is not taking the medication because of the pregnancy. Perhaps the meds control it wel normally. Has she spoken to her doctor to see if there is any drugs compatible with pregnancy?
Just to echo others advice as well in getting legal advice. Some solicitors do a free half hour consultation which may give you some clear advice;)

We have actually found out that the social worker wasn't informed of the move so the file hasn't been passed over to anybody. We also found out that she told her sw that oh wasn't involved in his dd's life- we can prove that he has. This is really worrying tbh and we're not sure what to do.
We're also not sure whether she's on her meds or not, one day she says she is the next she's not and obviously we can't ask her gp. I would guess from her behavior that she isn't on them, but I may be wrong0 -
Is the answer his newly married ex goes abroad and leave the two year old daughter in the UK or she has to stay in the UK pregnant and without her husband.
Personally I think the daughter should go with the mother and you work round it as best you can.£2 Coins Savings Club 2012 is £4.............................NCFC member No: 00005.........

Surley if she goes to cyprus she will be living with the army, they will help her medically ect, dd should have an education there, maybe discussing shared custody, some kids live at parents half and half in weeks or even months. I do know someone who wanted to move to usa to be with her new husband, her kids spent alot of time at their dads. He took her to court to stop her, and judge said " im sorry I cant stop her getting on with her life" He tried allsorts to prove the kids were better off with him, but there was no history of abuse or neglect so the courts had no reason to give him custody. The kids went to the usa, that was 5 yrs ago.0
