Well it is a really big issue on the comps board, as duplicated comp threads can disqualify a member from being entered into a competition if they enter twice or more for a comp...................................... MSE MARTIN LEWIS ... :A ... THANK YOU.......................0 -
Good luck with the upgrade. Hope you have a good implementation plan, with checkpoints and regression points!
If you have performance problems, throwing more hardware at it is not always the answer. (but I'm sure you know this already).:D"Carpe Diem"

Lagging - Frequently the search database lags behind the live boards by a significant time. Sometimes over 30 mins or so. Makes it very difficult to find recent posts by a user should you wish to.
Sadly, that problem has not been solved.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

i think that the comp comp threads get very high viewing figures
Competitions Time (463 Viewing) & that's quite low, later on the figures will be much higher,
so it could be quite a big issue for the comp posters & entrants if the search isn't working very wellplease be a responsible pet owner & spay/neuter your pets, too many strays & not enough homes for them sadly.0 -

to me for quite a while.
ThankYou Webby, it's been fine so far, shall report surfing troubles if any without fail.0 -
meher - they can be disqualified from the competition if they enter twice - they often click thanks as much to mark to themselves that they have entered that competition and if there are duplicate threads they get merged etc.
From a BG point of view it's a nightmare as it makes searching for a spammers other posts impossible and you have to go and check your boards manually - a much slower processDFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Officially debt free 2017 - now joining the MFW's!
