Its actually a charity, non profit making, and I MAY even remember there's no taxes on the prices (please check this though)

We were considering it for our trip next June, it's no Ritz, but gets good reviews if you take it for what it is, clean basic accommodation.

Lastminute.com has Aladdin tickets for sale. They definitely price in GBP.

lastminute.com only a couple of dates where you can book tickets not everyday (or a single one while we are in NYC)
  • Thought it was about time i register & post rather then just read this thread.

Spent 2 lovely weeks in NY in Sept/Oct & found this thread very useful.. Already booked flights to go back in May & can't wait..
What came first, the music or the misery?
Did I listen to pop music because I was miserable? Or was I miserable because I listened to pop music?
  • Some great tours are provided by FreeToursbyFoot these tours are really good and you pay your tour guide at the finish you decide how much it's worth.

How is a tour free if you pay for it at the end of the tour?

I highly recommend big apple greeters they're free, and when i say free i mean you dont pay at all on my tour my greeter wouldnt even let me buy him a coffee!
Live each day like its your last because one day you'll be right
  • The tour is free (like a coffee can be free). You pay tips (or for service!)

We have one booked in Dec, recommended over on the NYC trip advisor forum.

Also there is no fixed price, you pay what it is worth to you.

  • Might have to check out these walks/greeters.
I had planned to check out Big Onion Walking Tours on my last trip but didn't get around to it.

We used it when we went last year. Found it really good as we combined the attractions with Boston attractions to save 20%. What is good is you only choose the attractions you actually want to go to, so no wasting money at Madame taussauds! ;)
