going to NYC for 6 nights in october and stopping at the MAve madison avenue.
going to go up statue liberty already got crown pass,i went in 2007 and was unable to do this then.
this time i will have my 2 year old with me so i am after some ideas of things i could do that would be suitable for her, having been to NYC previously i have already done the usual empire state brooklyn bridge and hudson cruise etc so it is not essential i revisit although if time permits i would like to go back to the empire as it was having renovation last time.0 -

If you have the time go to top of the rock rather than empire state - better views from there.
How about the natural history museum and the shop FAO schwartz?0 -

Depends what you are after for brekkie? A quick bagel or a large sit down breakfast. The tick tock diner on 34th street 8th avenue is a 24hr diner serving the classics like any style of eggs, pancakes and waffles. Catch the 1 train from 66th street to get there - should only takes 10 mins or so.0 -
The Tick Tock diner is really nice, good food and I had the funniest 'overheard' conversation ever in there! A middle aged new yorker talking to what sounded like a work colleague!
Highly recommended.
Check out menupages.com as well for breakfast places - it'll list restaurants in your area with reviews.“I tell you, we are here on Earth to fart around, and don't let anybody tell you different.”

best one from memory is lad on bus about 3 seats away from his mum asks not quietly is "uncle john sleeping in her room again tonight."
How silent can one giggle without eye contact to her or anyone else:cool: hard as nails on the internet . wimp in the real world :cool:0 -
Lol, it was a very flirtation conversation, he was apologising for something and explaining why he hadn't done something but would like to! I can't remember it word for word unfortunately. He had a face and voice that was absolutely perfect for radio :rotfl: :rotfl: I could have listened to him all day!“I tell you, we are here on Earth to fart around, and don't let anybody tell you different.”

For a quick breakfast, both Le Pain Quotidien and Bouchon Bakery are within a 5 minute walk from the Empire Hotel. Le Pain Quotidien is located on West 65th Street, at Columbus Avenue. Bouchon Bakery is located in the Time Warner Center at Columbus Circle.
