im not saying you couldnt price it up yourself and get it cheaper though for example i just priced up flights to NY and staying in that hotel for the same period and flying virgin is £1608 return, you would then need to price up internal rtn flights to vegas and a hotel and you would have to fly back from ny, so if you could do the vegas bit for less than £700 you would be goldenLive each day like its your last because one day you'll be right0
-
Oh wow, I've found internal flights for £280x2 (to fly back) and the monte carlo stay is $288. Would you be able to link me to the flights you found?0
-
look on expedia, and select "i only need hotel for part of the trip" also you'll be able to get some cash back through quidco and you can choose you you fly with, i chose virgin as that is how you had priced it up.
As stated remember that the return flights will take you to and from NY so you will need to factor in another night in a hotel on arrival in NY or try and get the flights the same day from vegas to NYLive each day like its your last because one day you'll be right0 -
Hi Teabythesea, would you be kind enough to advise who your quotes with, looking to go to NY on 23Nov for 3 nights, so far have looked at expedia prices coming out on average @£700 each for flights and accom, any help/ advise would be great.0

They are with the lovely (and very accommodating) Dean at BestAtTravel. He has been wonderful, he isn't sleazy or pushy at all, we wanted earlier landing flights and he got them, he changed everything with no problems and really wanted us to get the best deal. I can give you his direct email if you like? (If I'm allowed to do that).0

Regardless of whether it is a bargain or not, you can do much better than the Ameritana hotel. It's not really well regarded, especially when there are so many newer hotels around these days.0
-
OK then. I'm curious to see if it is a bargain. So, this is what I've done
Flights - Multi City - LON - NYC - LAS - LON £635 Each
New York Hotel - £660 - Eastgate Tower Studio with Kitchen
Las Vegas Hotel - $288 - Monte Carlo - Your search
Grand Total = £2110
Hmm.. close, and also it's indirect flights from NYC - LAS - and LAS - LON, so it may require some tweaking.

Hi Mark
Who would you recomend to go with (flight and hotel), want to go on 23rd Nov for three nights, so early flight on 23rd and late flight on 26th. Your advise would be great.0 -
look on expedia, and select "i only need hotel for part of the trip" also you'll be able to get some cash back through quidco
....and you can also get Nectar Points on Expedia purchases
My last Expedia purchase 'earned' £42 Quidco Cashback, £5 worth of nectar points and £3.70 in Clubcard points (as I'd paid on my Tesco CC).....every little helps!
We're flying out on Tuesday, going to NJ first to see relatives and then on to NY. Can't wait for my annual 'Pastrami on rye'0 -
Hey everyone, first time on this part of the forum. My friend and I very recently booked a weekend trip to NYC for Thanksgiving. Flights are on Thanksgiving (22nd Nov) to the 25th Nov which we got for £342 each from Belfast, thought that was a good little bargain! Then we're staying in The W on Lexington Avenue. As we're flying on Thanksgiving I was just wondering whether anyone could recommend somewhere to go for our dinner? I've read that there are a few places closed so I'm not sure where exactly we can go.0
