Boots? I don't mean at the airport here, but on arrival there... .
    It doesn't matter.

We are so excited that you are going that we are not really answering properly.. lol

When I went before, we got off the plane.. to immigration then collected bags. No hand luggage checks - just finger prints, eye scan , passport etc

    Cool, thanks.
I am very excited too.. I wasn't for long time (it's my best friend's Bday trip so she has chosen it), but yesterday I was looking through list of restaurants and bars you can go to and it's all really international etc and it just suddenly dawned on me.. :D

Hope you have a great time.

I am off in April and excited already! Can't help it.

Do be careful with ice etc (if still there) when out and about and crossing roads. Someone has posted some information on the trip advisor forum.

We are flying Delta. What do you mean by Pizza in the box? Literally? Also do we get just a drink or several?

BTW 7 hrs is not that short of a flight neither in my books

< child mode > OMG!! pizza in a box is just amazing < end child mode >

It is a pizza, microwaved, served in a box, however, it tastes really good, as they've used like real cheese, and i'm a cheese fiend.

Drinks? OK, you can have as many as you like if you walk to the back galley and ask. Beer & Wine, along with soft drinks, water etc are free, and only the signature cocktails / spirits they will charge for.

I normally ask for beers in twos, as it saves me going back. I like a few drinks on a flight, I mean, what else is there to do!

In flight entertainment is always awful, regardless if it is a seat back, mainly because the screen is always far too low down on the seat back for someone my height. My iPad does the trick though.

Those of you who have used Dial 7 AND Carmel Limo - do you have a preference? They're both quoting the same price for my Newark-Manhattan transfer but I'm not sure why I should pick one over the other. Anyone any comments?

I've only ever used Carmel, and they are always cheaper than Dial 7, when you use the $4 off coupon for pickups from the airport.

If you go on their website and click on the coupons, you can print it off. then when booking the LAST BUT ONE page, there is a tiny little check box that you MUST tick, and the popup on screen will give you the code to write on that print out.

    $4 saved!
