I am with Greenface, we will get the same questions anyway. No need to stress about a new thread.

Not as good no, but for the many people that do have miles, there is.

Any harm in this information being in this thread M4RKM?

If i found a very good deal flying from Glasgow should i not post about it, as only people in Scotland would find it useful?

I found your information very useful as my daughter and friend are going to NY and I am very interested in treating them to premium economy for the return journey and as I also have some miles, it will hopefully save me money (which is after all what this forum is all about surely). If it saves me money then it was a post worth posting. Also, not everyone wants a seat which is merely bearable. It's long haul, if you can do the return night flight in additional comfort for a good price, why not? You are on holiday after all! Will give Virgin a call. thanks for that Alfonso.

Can I just ask about sales tax- I'd it just in NYC and not in jersey? Considering Woodbury commons- if there is no tax it might be worth it. am I right to think it us only taxable if over 110 dollars? Think I read it somewhere on here!

OK, Woodbury Commons is in New York State, not New Jersey, so Jersey tax doesn't come into the equation here.

Currently, in New York City tax is 4.875% on clothing items under $110, 8.875% on items $110 and more.

The sales tax up at Woodbury Common is just the State tax, which I think is 4%

There is no sales tax on clothes in New Jersey, so Jersey Gardens is an option, but it's smaller and less high class stores that Woodbury.

I've tried Woodbury, and wasn't impressed, it's a good trek from the city, the discounts didn't seem that great. Maybe shop til you drop in the city and then decide if you want to spend a whole day just going to an outlet mall.

Bad news, I had to tell my wife that she can't take her GHDs. I told her that even if they did plug in and work, 110v would only make them lukewarm.

Weather is looking chilly for this weekend, brrrrrrrrrr... will be taking extra socks.

Is there somewhere convenient to call Carmel when you're ready? Or do you have to use a mobile? Took the standard advice to leave an hour after the flight lands for the pick-up.
I spend less than I earn and if I can't afford it I don't buy it. I'm guessing that makes me a money saver.

Not 100% true. If they are GHD 4's they are multi voltage, and will work perfectly on 110v

We went with Liberty Helicopter Tours (they have a website I am pretty sure). Think it cost about £35 each for 15 minutes which was more than long enough. You can pre-book your day and time.
