the whole point of priceline (.com and, more recently .co.uk) ios the OPAQUE BIDDING system.
This is what the majority of people use it for as this provides the best value.
If you can post a step-by-step guide on how to get to a UK (ie in pounds sterling and accepts UK addresses in standard format) bidding form from http://www.priceline.com/, please show me... (I posted how to get to one from http://www.priceline.co.uk/)
I am going to stop replying to you as you obviously won't listen to those who know better0 -
Your insane please anyone goto http://www.priceline.co.uk/ and its obvious from the open that you can only book European hotels on that site!
I really don’t understand how you can even debate this fact? You must be living on cloud cuckoo land!
I will post instructions of a workaround that is used by Canadians and can also be used by You to make bids on priceline.com.0 -
Read this and then if you be a man accept that you have made a mistake!
basically you use use CA (California) for the state and use 99999 for the zip code.

I am registered with priceline.co.uk, using my full UK address in standard UK format and a UK debit card.
See, you learn something every day, don't YOU0 -

I give up.0 -
Well i dont understand> why wouldnt you be? its not hard to register to a British website or am i missing something?
Still if you wont the real cheap deals then use the workaround that i posted (that you said did not exist)and use priceline.com.0 -
You must be a real nice guy to start a argument about me saying priceline.com was cheaper then after childish personal attacks 15 posts later have the nerve to sneak into your post that the workaround you use redirects you to the site i said originally? Ie priceline.com,or are we all not suppose to notice that?
You flabbergast me!0 -

Please provide a quote of where I said the workaround does not exist or stop mis-quoting me.
Besides, I think everyone here is agreed that you are the one who started the argument
Anyway, I really am not going to get involved in this any more, feel free to have as many cheap shots at me as you see fit.0 -

I note that a considerable numbr of your posts are argumentative - frankly it's getting boring.0 -
.... *rolleyes*, seems like a fun discussion!!
I am a UK resident, with UK billing address.
I just used https://www.priceline.com to book 5 nights in Baltimore, USA.
As suggested earlier, enter any old billing address -- it'll get charged to just fine :-)
And for 'who is cheapest' type comparison:
Mariott on Expedia = £160/night
Mariott on hotwire* = £101/night
Mariott on priceline.com (name your own price) = £55/night
*hotel name deduced, since it is the only 4 star in the area.0
