Hi,
I would like to thank wozwebs for this excellent BA flights deal, I've managed to book Manchester to New York for under £170 PP in October.
I'm not sure if I should be thanking anyone else if it was posted earlier but I booked it because of wozwebs post so I feel he deserves the credit. :-)
Cheers,
G0 -

bargain!
Did you maybe go in the dead of winter? A lot of these hotels offer attractive "Prices from $......" rates, but these appear to be very seasonal.0 -
Useful note I have taken from another forum
A word of warning
If you are planning to go the USA soon make sure you qualify for the visa waiver scheme. If you need to get a visa it takes about 2 months as you need to have an appointment in person. You also have to pay $100.
Also note that if you have any sort of conviction even a spent one you do not qualify for a visa waiver0 -
Has anyone seen any other destinations on this offer with such good prices?
I've tried quite a lot and the fares are described as "Discounted" but they're not that good value.
I already have a trip to NYC booked for October so I'm looking for a trip somewhere else.0 -

I think that it is anything that you have ever been arrested for - regardless of conviction or not. In other words if you have ever come up on the Police sysdtem for an arrestable offense.
But please check.

The information on the visa waiver scheme is on the US Embassy website here, from my reading if you have been arrested you need to get a special restricted visa (this will involve interview at US embassy), and anyone with a criminal record (spent convictions DO count ie they are not spent as far as US immigration are concerned).0
