  • Oh, please God that Gonzo is missing-from-nine-miles-away cat. Imagine the relief of knowing he's well and safe and might be coming home. Maybe Gonzo is an escape-artist and gave them the slip before they could get him neutered. I do hope so!

OMG, it could be him! But there is quite a difference between a six month old adolescent and an 18 month old adult - positive identification may well come down to a few white hairs in a place that's unique to him.

    Good luck!!

It would be amazing if you could reunite someone with their kitty after a year! It is nice to know that you are prepared to look after him though if nobody claims him.

  • The OH just got an email from AnimalSearch, apparently they've checked with the owners and their cat is now home safe and well (:j) so it's definitely not him.

And unfortunately, we've not seen him since this morning... we're thinking he might have moved on already or found his way home. I *may* go out for a look later in case Guinness has scared him off, otherwise we'll have to wait and see what happens next. Poor little snausage :(
  • Speak of the devil! He was outside in the popup bin sheltering from the rain.

So he came in and *shared* a bowl of food with Pumpkin! :T

all going swimmingly whilst they both had food in their chops, but back to hissing once it had all gone.. so The Gonz is having a nap in the kitchen now. Just as well really, snow forecast on them thar hills... Still got the collar on, still no calls...
  • Methinks you have a new cat Kataklysm hon......

have you ever heard of a feliway plug in?
they're about 25 squid but it really helped when we brought mylo home to meet honey. she actually wanted to kill him at first, but as soon as the plug in went in she calmed down and they're now bessie mates!

hope Gonzo settles in well soon!
What matters most is how well you walk through the fire
  • I have a feeling that Gonzo won't be a-wondering no more now he's found a warm berth and a warm welcome with Kat and cats
