Broadband speed tests seem pretty hopeless. I tried a couple recently and they produced similar results, both saying that my connection was half the speed I could actually download myself at. Try installing NetMeter, it produces results that match my observed download speeds. Don't forget you're likely to get slower speeds at peak times.0
