    Hi
I am new to this thread so hello. I will read or a few days before posting anything but in the meantime a question. I had a blocked loo yesterday so unblocked it with a windy wire thing I bought in one of the cheaper supermarkets. It has a sort of wire gripper on the end and it scratched the basin of the loo a bit. An idea how I could get rid of the scratches. Anyhow this seems a lovely thread I will enjoy coming back to

    Here you go:

    Wacky Cake

    1 1/2 cups plain flour
    2 tbsps cocoa
    1 tsp bicarb of soda
    1 tsp baking powder
1 cup sugar (I use granulated)

5oz (150g??) butter or marg melted
    1 tsp vanilla essence
    1 tbsp vinegar
    1 cup warm water

    Method:
Seive dry ingredients together. Make a well & add beaten liquids. Mix well with a wooden spoon or ballon whisk. Pour into an 8
9" square or 11" x 7" oblong shallow tin. Bake at 180C until firm to the touch (about 1/2 hour). When cool cover with melted chocolate & cut into squares.
