Dellybelly- one was a week early and one was over a week late. I was so hungry all of the time, I have never been hungry like that. I felt sick, so I would eat. I just had what I fancied, I had a big avocado craving too. The babies were 8lb 4 and 8lb 6. I managed to lose the weight inbetween with breast feeding, 1 year and two years! Anyway, my body image was so distorted by the end of it, I didn't know how I looked. At the end I thought I looked great, I was so pleased I had no stretch marks. They were all underneath where I couldn't see, I found out after. Worth it for the babies though, they're big now.Space for rent, apply within - Free trial on Thanks button though0

Morning everyone and thanks for your welcome and support.:j
I agree consultant that 1lb is a better target to allow for "those" weeks so I have adjusted the plan.
My excersise for today will be a walk to my supermarket (takes about 15 mins each way ) to pick up a paper and some salady bits for lunch. Going out with some friends tonight to a Italian restaurant so need to be a bit more careful than usual also out tomorrow to celebrate my dads birthday ( maybe have not chosen the best week to start this afterall:rotfl: )
Honey - glad Im not the only one not wanting to totally give up the wine (i know it will take longer this way but I least I will enjoy the journey more!)

Hi Everyone
Well I went out for lunch yesterday but think I managed to stay within my points. Fingers crossed for a loss this week as i have been drinking lots of water and have ensured I have not gone over my points.
Anyway we'll find out on Wednesday. If I can get that 1lb off that i put on then i'll be more than pleased.
Good luck to all this week.

Hi all, 1 lb weight loss this week.:A
I am pleased with that! as I managed to put on a pound last week:eek:
I got up early yesterday (saturday). Managed to get to Next just before 7 am for the sale. I bought some lovely things, tops, trainers, 2xflip flops, a shell belt. 4x bra's, sun glasses, jewellery and hair slide.
Any way I am going to tell the story of the 3 woven trim wrap tops. Was £29.99, now £9.99 all in 1 pck. I was looking along the shelf for my size 14, when I met a lady comming from the other end, trying to be helpful I said "what size are you looking for" she replied "14" So I told her there was not any at my end! and she walked away. Optimisticly, I looked at her end anyway! I found a pck in a size 12! Deciding I am trying to slim to a 12 for my spring holiday (Lanzarote) I put them in my sale bag...
It is getting cooler today so I have done a little gardening and house work(exercise) will do some more after being on the computer! taking turns with other family members... Oh a grown up family...
I was a bit naughty this week though... I discovered pringles are an all time low price at Wilkinsons - 69p so I bought 2 tubes and ate 1 my self. Still! I enjoyed them over several days.
Best Wishes...If winter comes, can spring be far behind?

Horrid week for me! The girls I look after had a gastric problem, so now I have felt nauseaus (sp?!) for three days solid. I can't bear to think about food. First off I thought perhaps I had had too many red days, and that I was hungry and needed some carbs. Now I just feel sick at the smell and thought of everything! (Oh well should be good for the scales on Tuesday as I am drinking lots.):p
Off to check out some syn values of different foods - as the thought of some of my usual ones isn't good at the moment!
Ohhh - Julie D - pringles sound good - something that doesn't make me feel ill?0 -

Hi cathys 1 . It does not sound good, looking after sick girls! prehaps you have caught a virus! We all Know what that means! NO food for 24hrs.
Very slimming!
Consultant31 - Thanks for your comment! You do keep us all on the good path to slimming ways. I guess NO more pringles!:rolleyes:If winter comes, can spring be far behind?

Hi Jenittels
Would that be Farnborough Airshow? Just asking as I have been watching the afternoon air displays all week from the comfort of my back garden. The children I look after have been waving at them and running around with paper aeroplanes. Best Wishes...If winter comes, can spring be far behind?

Hi all - apologies for not posting much this weekend, and for not doing the thought for the day. I had a bad headache on Friday so avoided going on the PC, then on Saturday I just felt like a wrung out dishcloth! I used to love the summer, but I don't seem to be able to cope with the heat anymore.
Honey - if you've still got that rhubarb, I found a recipe that sounds really nice - strawberry and rhubarb compote. You've probably eaten the rhubarb by now, but if not, let me know and I'll post it for you.
On the subject of drinking wine, research has been carried out that shows that it's actually better for you to drink alcohol in moderation than to be teetotal, and red wine in particular is good for the heart. Before I started SW I used to drink a lot more alcohol than I do now, and I used nearly all my syns on it at first. As I began to get used to drinking less I started using syns for other treats and got into the habit of just drinking one glass of wine a day. It's like most things, if you deny yourself, you just want it more.
I'll be back later with a thought for the day - OH has promised to take me out for a meal, so we're off to our local BeefeaterI love their free salad cart, and usually have a bowlful as a starter. Just have to avoid the onion bits, coleslaw, potato salad and bread rolls!

My rhubarb crumble is in the oven as we speakBut I love the sound of the compote - its its not too much bother can you post the recipe anyway -I can always buy more rhubard.
Have been busy packing all day and am fed up! Nipped on here quickly while dinner cooks - been too busy to nibble this afternoon which can only be a good thing I suppose0
