Morning folks, well done on the loss Eels - you are doing so well at the minute. Off work today, kids off to school. I normally blitz the house on my Monday's off but OH is off today too so I know that will prove a distraction. Feeling more alive and human today, definately think I have some sort of stomach problem, I really didnt drink that much on Saturday night and yesterday felt as though my whole insides were on fire. Did anyone watch birth night live last night, I cried my eyes out through it and got broody, much to OH's disgust!!
Weigh in tonight, not looking good. Am going to pilates again tonight, trying to talk my friend into going to aerobics before it. More focussed today, its 3 weeks to my birthday and I want to have lost at least 5-6lb by then.
Have a good day all x0 -
Morning all, Hope we all had a good weekend. I didnt enjoy the rugby so much on Saturday, lost and a boxing match started in the middle of it:o which is not my thing anymore.
Weightwise, I have gone to Boots and although they have moved the scales (again) I have lost 2lb this week which has dropped me through a stone barrierLois I will reassess my Christmas target later, once I know whats happening kneewise.
Well done to Eels on your loss, must be feeling very pleased with yourself? Fingers crossed for next week and your drop through the stone barrier. Good On you!!
Honey, I hope the distraction your OH provides is a good one? Three weeks till your birthday and 5-6lb to lose seems a possible target and one that is attainable. How are you finding the pilates? you enjoying it?
Lois, would you like some 'Brasso' for the Halo?Sounds like you were very good on Saturday in spite of the goodies on offer! So look at what went right and not what went wrong? I got back to my rugby club on Saturday evening to find potato wedges and french bread left out, I caved straight away  though like you I drove, so it was diet coke city for me
Rachelmk, This red lentil soup is appearing all overI better go and try it, does it store ok? I have The departed on our list of films to try, how long was it? No travelling and no customers? Is that your idea of bliss after your jetsetting? Or will you be stir crazy later in the week?
Moiracm - Well done on your loss, glad to see your enjoyed your birthday and that you treated yourself, after all if you cant treat yourself on your 21st birthday when can you treat yourself? Can I ask when is the holiday? Going anywwhere nice?
Right beter get back to producing this quote, suffering with a sore shoulder today as a result of Saturday, pretty certain I got it in the warm up
Have a good day one and allProud Member of the Lose Weight Thread on I Wanna..................

Well done EEls and Suggs - you're both an inspiration to us all!
Dropping through a stone barrier is brilliant and should definitely set you up for the next week or so - I bet you're floating on air :T :T
I'm going to try this lentil soup, it sounds just my sort of food - filling!! I've just had a huge bowl of couscous with Mullerlight, a few grapes and a chopped nectarine stirred in - it was delicious and I'm really full now!I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -
Oh, maybe I'm not going to make the lentil soup after all - I can't find the recipe
Please somebody, can you post the recipe for meI let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -
Thank you all for your inspirational posts. I have managed to not gain any weight this week, even though I have been studying for my exams next Monday:j
I managed to avoid eating avocodos this week (I usually eat about 10 small avos a day) but I did succumb to the cheese. Having opened the pack of cheese and eaten a couple of slices in a wholemeal roll yesterday, I then read this forum and that made me wrap the rest of the cheese up and put it away (which is unkown for me as I usually have to eat it all). So thank you everyone.
Well done to those of you who have lost this week, and well done to Suggs for breaking a stone barrier:TRENTING? Have you checked to see that your landlord has permission from their mortgage lender to rent the property? If not, you could be thrown out with very little notice.

Well done :T Perhaps you could make up several little bags of the cheese and pop them in the freezer and take it out a bit at a time.I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -

Brillaint idea:T . I'll do that. I'll label it as calf's stomach, in an effort to get me off cheese forever. I managed to stop my chocolate cravings since last January, but still can't stop my cheese cravingsRENTING? Consultant, I made lentil soup earlier, not realising there was a lentil frenzy on here.
I sweated an onion in a little frylight. Added 2 pints chicken/vegetable stock. Grated a carrot and a potato and added them, along with a cupful of red lentils and a cupful of yellow split peas to bulk it up. All free apart from the stock cubes, unless I am mistaken! Let it all simmer in the pot until cooked. Hope that helps, I'm not sure what recipe the others are following - am I rebelling and making a different version:rotfl: Also made a pot of chilli for tomorrows dinner - arent I the domestic goddess today :rotfl:

Afternoon all, thought id drop by and tell you all how im going this week!
Weight : +0.2lbs.
I think thats not too bad considering it was 2 of my friends 22nd birthdays this weekend and i was forced:A (yeh right!) to go out on both friday and saturday for meals!
A good weekend was had and i feel a lot less guilty now ive weighed in only a tiny bit up on last week!
Just had a 3 mile walk in to town and back to buy some astro turf trainers for playing football this evening. 2hours of running round like a headless chicken should help with the loss :P
Id just like to congratulate everyone on their losses this week:T :T , only wish i could have done the same :P Just makes me more determine to lose for next week i suppose!0 -

Consultant, my version of lentil soup has 3 ingredients and takes minutes to make. Don't know about syns though, I'm a SW ignoramus
Chop loads of onion finely, chop a few carrots finely, dry fry until soft (although I sometimes use a drizzle of olive oil) and then stir in a load of lentils. Season with huge amounts of cracked black pepper and a swoosh of salt and top up with boiling water. Simmer until lentils are softened and soup is thick (I usually boil hard for 5-10 mins then turn down low for half an hour), either adding water or reducing to get the consistency you like. Stock free and proper comfort food. I'm enjoying some for my lunch just now and the spoon nearly stands up in it!
Incidentally, I meant to mention this morning that I have seen The Departed and thought it was really great, but sad in the end.
Well done Suggs, and good on Benjie and MissM for sticking it so far! Glad you had a lovely day Moira. :T0
