Lost 1.5lb, reached my club 10 and am into a new stone bracket -now under 11 stone. Am chuffed with myself - even if I do say so!

Wonderful Honey!! Hope you celebrated with something shiny or slinky!

Katyk: Before you have a glass, prepare some healthy snacky bits (like carrots and homemade houmous, or sw chips) and make sure all the naughty stuff is out of the way! I don't drink very often at all now but i have the same problem when i do!

Weigh in tonight hopefuly (unless it's been cancelled again - must ring and check). Hope i've finally lost something.

well done honey28- that's fantastic and exactly where I am hoping to get to.

JenIttels, good luck tonight- hope that you do really well.

I couldn't go to other WW class last night as I was working and can't go tomorrow as I am working all day- with the delights of a group of 13 year olds!, so I'll have to wait another week to see exactly what I have lost. Bit annoying really as I can't tell on my scales exactly what i have lost as they are pretty rubbish scales.

Weather here a bit brighter this morning so hopefully will get to cut lawn at front today as it really needs a good going over. Plus it's pretty good exercise, did nearly 2 hours walking as part of my detached youth work last night. Will be trying a taebo exercise dvd with OH tonight- had a look last night, looks intense but should do the trick!

Had a bit of a panic yesterday. As you know, trying to lose weight for my wedding which is 20 weeks away. Found a dress online that I love but I would need to allow 16 weeks for it to arrive and wanted to try on dresses before I decided. At a size 24, I find clothes shopping traumatic and was hoping to lose some weight before I began the process.

So my question is, if I lost a couple of stone before the wedding, do you reckon the dress could be taken in reasonably if I bought one that fits now? Has anyone else been in this position? I was hoping not to go dress shopping until October. I realise that this is a funny thing to put on the weight loss board but thought perhaps, someone on here would be likely to have experience with size fluctuations.

    Well done Katy and Honey!

    Take care. lisele

It would depend on the style of the dress. I bought a bridesmaid style dress for my wedding which was taken in a fair bit as I'm top heavy. It looked great on the day but it was taken in by a professional at the bridal shop. I would check around first to make sure that there is a local dressmaker who could do exactlywhat you need them to before ordering.

    Good luck

    K9 Update

Had my weigh in today.. my target was 114.9kg.. I "thought" I might even been as low as 112 but had to bad week last week easy (and eatting rubbish! :( )

Anyhoo... I was 114.5 kg! So beat my target!!! So I'm kinda happy!!!

I've lost 9kg todate which is around 1st 4lbs!! I've still got along way to go.. I won't be the medical recommended until est. May 2008!!! I think I will be happy with 86kg which should be at (if I carry on as I am!) Nov 2007.

Anyway... my next target is to be 109.8kg for Nov 2006! Will keep you posted!!

    Hi

I hope this is the right place for me to put this as I am really getting down through my weight. I am 19 and lived with my Mum till i was 18, i started earning my own money and moved in with my dad. This is when the pounds started gaining. My Mum used to make me healthy meals but now all I eat is crap food. I really wanto be a part of this as losing weight is so much easier with people. Help please ! :)

    Sorry for Rambling
