Afternoon ladies!
Nice to be back again, and thanks for all of the welcomes back. Hugs to rosepink, serena and all feeling rough today.
Happy birthday Master W - hope you're having a lovely day.
Nice to see you back courgette and glad you and courgette seed are doing well.
Just got back from town, and finished off all of the food shopping. Took my hairdryer back no problem, as the lady at the electrical department said I was the second person that had had the same problem, and both hairdryers were from the same batch number. I've got a new one from a different batch, and she said that if I get the same problem again, to bring it in, and they will refund me. She tested it out for me with all of the different nozzles, and they all stayed on, so fingers crossed that they stay that way over time.
I went to a local bed shop today to have a look, and saw 2 lovely wooden beds. I think I've pretty much decided that we are going to move our bed into the spare room and get a new one for us, cos getting a cheap spare room bed is turning out to not be so cheap after all, and I like our old bed a lot more than a lot of the ones in the shops. Question though - do any of you have a memory foam mattress or one with a memory foam topper on it? I've heard mixed reviews about them - I've heard that you can get very hot on them because of the nature of the moulding to your body thing? Is it worth buying one, or should I just stick to a pocket sprung mattress?
I'm heading back out to the bed shop again with OH when he gets home, so we can try some out (lying down on them).
Looking forward to your answers on this one.

I have had a topper one on my bed and I have slept like a dream ever since, I have never had a problem with being to hot and would recommend them to everyone. When you first lay on them they do feel a bit funny and I wasn't sure about it until I woke up in the morning and felt like I had been sleeping on a cloud

I definitely agree with you that you should invest the money in YOUR bed - spare room beds are rarely slept on for more than a few days at a time.
I've walked to the shop for a paper. It's lovely outside, but VERY cold. The aconites are out in the garden, and snowdrops are coming through to. And the viburnum buds are starting to open. I'm looking foward to the landscaping being finished in March, so I can get on with replanting the garden - I want to fill it with scented plants and ones that attract wildlife. I'm on clay, so I've always had lots of roses and plan to continue that. Hopefully by NEXT summer, it'll be fabulous
I guess I'd better get on with sorting out cupboards in the kitchen and try to shoehorn in some of the utility room stuff.0 -
Can I have my last two stars please? Thanks, I will check in later, busy today xxxChifundo Uzuri Siochain"All that is gold does not glitter, not all those who wander are lost" - JRR Tolkien~

DD being the kind child that she is has shared her cold with me so I'm feeling rotten now.
DS2 went missing on Thursday after school. An hour after her has normally come home from school he had not appeared I'd phoned the school, no answer, phoned his pals, no one had seen him. OH checked the shop-not been in and at the school- no answer. Phoned the police only for DS2 to walk in the door and say that he stayed after school for a fitness club:mad:. No permission slips sent home from the school either. So Friday morning I spoke to the Head and told him what I thought of it all!
List all finnished can I claim 5 stars please :T:T:T:T:TFunfairs list of daily dreads
