Fair play mate. You sure you're not describing your job as an AA man? Tools in back, stop quite frequently etc...As a 25 year old bloke, I do stop to see if I can help quite frequently. I've normally got a few tools etc in the back of my car..
I've helped someone push their car out of a busy road and into a carpark 0when its run out of juice, I then drove him to a petrol station and back again. He, and his family were very very pleased I stopped to help.
