Now, being able to tell someone's religion from how they look..... that a risky skill!
Especially the blokes'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. A single market without barriers visible or invisible giving you direct and unhindered access to the purchasing power of over 300 million of the worlds wealthiest and most prosperous people' Margaret Thatcher0 -
Why not try the drive past with a smug look on your face while shouting through the open window "you should have bought a better car" routine!
Happened to me once when I was stuck.... really cheers you upAlways try to be at least half the person your dog thinks you are!0 -

I woulldn`t give anyone i didn`t know a jump start in this day and age.
2 reasons:
1. car electronics are getting more fragile and sensitive, even done properly a jump start can cause problems. a friend jump started his slk following exactly the right procedure in the handbook, to the letter, I watched, but when connecting the lead the surge damaged the instrument cluster and the sam module, £800 in parts plus £120 to get the new parts coded to his car.
2. were becoming too like the americans, a litigious society. if that happened you leave yourself wide open to being sued.0 -
good point petrolhead69...........I was on holiday in Cuba, and my car broke down, without asking anyone the people in the small village came and started fixing it. Gave me a coffee and in 20 minutes I was back on my way - I wanted to pay and got an odd look - it was just the way things are done there - here it is dangerous to be a good samaritan, and thats pretty sad.0

As a female, I probably would not stop as car jacking is all too common in London.. (I wouldn't expect anyone to stop for me, I'd call the breakdown services out).
I have stopped for a stray dog at night though... and no one stopped to try and help me catch it!0 -
How could you tell they were Muslims in the pitch dark ?
Sometimes the robes and beards gives it away (I see them all going off to their local hall here) - though I know obviously a muslim can look the same as any other person, just saying, sometimes you can tell by the way they dress.0 -
