Thanks for the Ginger Cake recipe, have saved it for another day. I will use the stem ginger in syrup as I bought some recently.

apricot flapjacks, Twinks hobnobs and a kind of swiss roll stuffed bread dough then sliced. Someone on the boards made it the other day and posted a photo, I was so inspired I tried my own version today, I've tried looking for that thread but it's got lost amongst all the others I think! If the person who posted is reading this...thanks So much, the bread was fantastic!
Edited to add: My DD made some carrot cake fairy cakes from her ready steady cook book which turned out fab too0 -

Today I've baked a beautiful Savoury Loaf from a recipe I found on Recipezaar - they are doing a feature on bread this month, and made me very happy with over 1000 bread machine recipes :T
