today I can actually contribute to this thread again after a period of silence
I made a loaf today, 1/3 spelt, 2/3 white with linseed. Then I made muffins with that lovely recipe that was posted on here for ChocolateApple cake but I changed it slightly. Instead of bicarb I used self-raising flour , less than given in the original recipe. Those were ""utterly scrumptious muffins"", dear original poster!
Then I made an apple and mincemeat strudel.First they ignore you, then they ridicule you, then they fight you, and then you win - Gandhi0 -
Butternut squash muffins mmmm. Used a Jamie Oliver recipe but didn't put in all the sugar he recommended. It made 20 muffins so have frozen some. They are dead scrummy so I don't think they will be in the freezer long!Pay off all your debts by Christmas 2025 no. 15 £0/69490

I made those apple and chocolate muffins again with the amended recipe from the Utterly scrumptious blog. As long as we have apples they are going to become a regular feature!First they ignore you, then they ridicule you, then they fight you, and then you win - Gandhi0
