I've just put the oven on to pre-heat. I'm going to knock up a batch of oatmeal and raisin cookie bars, ready for weekend snacking.0

today I have been getting stuff ready for sons 11th birthday on Saturday, 60 mini sausage rolls, 60 mini bbq chicken pasties, bacon and onion massive quiche,top hats,choc fudge b-day cake, Victoria sponge...will add fresh cream and strawberries on Friday night, made cheese straws,40 assorted cupcakes, also did the chicken,sausages and vol au vents to be filled on sat too. im shattered but can sit and relax knowing its top a cake, make a jelly and fill bowls with crisps and nuts yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy it was never ending !C.R.A.P.R.O.L.L.Z #7 member N.I splinter-group co-ordinater
I dont suffer from insanity....I enjoy every minute of it!!.:)

Today I will bake the usual FRench style loaf - not decided on the shape yet. If after 10 days away I can find enough black or even red currants (the birds were nesting in them) I will make a meringue cake with currants
and hazelnuts

The only thing that's been baked today is me, spent 2 1/2 hours onv A1M, M25 and M4 going and 4 1/2 hours coming back in 'beginning of the holidays' traffic. Oh, and my bottle of water almost boiled too. Not nice!0

HAHAHAHAHAHA they are simply put a spoonful of melted chocolate in a buncase quickly plop a marshmallow on top then put a tiny blob of melted choc on top of mallow and put a smartie on top. put them in fridge to harden for 10 mins, they look like a top hat.............well they do to kids hth xxx
