I made some of these and they were gorgeous ,my DGS Mikey approved of them as well I used some Concorde Grape Jelly that my DD brought back from the U.S. as its my favourite jam.

I may try to make some with lemon curd ,do you think it will turn out OK as I adore anything lemony
I also made a sultana and cherry cake and some melting moment biscuits this morning:jI much prefer home made stuff to shop bought stuff when it comes to cakes or biscuits

I'm going cross eyed from looking but can't find the original link to the recipe. Anyway, if anybody knows can they give credit for me please? The basic cake batter mix is as per the jammy cakes on my blog. The original recipe adds the lemon curd and mixes it in (a whole jar, I use basics range). I fold mine through per my jammy recipe as I like little pockets and bursts of flavour and I also add a handful or two of sultanas if I have them around. They are very moist and last ages, not that they get the chance to try that out around here :rotfl:

Well I've made 2 traybake flapjacks (OH and DD) approve. Made some shortbread, which for the first time ever went wrong?! Also made a traybake lemon drizzle cake, which is moist, and just gorgeous :). Thanks for the advice x

Today I have made some dropped scones, which can be re-heated for breakfast tomorrow. I also made some chocolate and strawberry tarts for after tonight's tea :)

What have used for the decoration? (Cos I'm quite sure it's not macaroni half-dipped in chocolate, which was what I thought when I first saw the picture:o)
