    Another mix of white/spelt loaf. It turned out rather well.
    It's really easy to default to cynicism these days, since you are almost always certain to be right.

    I baked hot cross buns yesterday for my Dad's birthday today :) I didn't have any apricot jam to glaze them with so they don't look at all glossy

    you could glaze with watered down honey or golden syrup or make a sugar syrup

    I must try and make some myself. I saw the price in the supermarket and thought I must be able to make them? You have answered my question.
