  • Lemon slices, cornflake crispy cakes (though that's not actually baking), Twinks hobnobs, and a shortcrust pie filled with the meat from a SC turkey drumstick.
  • I "baked" a cereal bar recipe, oats, dates, bananas margarine sugar etc, it takes nice enough, will probably just be me eating it anyway.

I’ve my traditional Christmas puddings made, and quite good they are looking.

Anyway I’m also thinking of doing Gordon Ramsay’s version of Christmas pudding and was wondering if any of you have tried it. To be honest I can’t, for the life of me, figure out how it could be calssified as a Christmas pudding.

I’m also wondering what its keeping qualities would be; do you prepare it on the day, or can you prepare weeks in advance and warm up on the day.

Anyone ever tried Ramsay’s Christmas Pudding.

Have look at both these sites:

  • Ive made the Nigella Christmas Morning Muffins so far today - they smell delish and have got a wonderful crunchy sugar coating on top - yum! Thanks to freespirit66 for that idea!

Also have the ingredients for the Nigella Maple Cheesecake and the Sticky Gingerbread so I think I have a busy day ahead!

I've also bought the Good Food mag this month and it's full of Christmassy delights - I feel a very full freezer and belly coming on - uh oh!
2015 - I am determined to lose at least 3 stone in weight and I must pay off at least one of my credit cards...If I keep telling myself, I might start believing it!!! :D
